Honestly, petty as fuck but i’d rather risk the coefficient and these absolute thundertossers go out.

Yeah. Arsenal going out it Porto would be hilarious and I'll take the risk of not finishing 4th or the other English sides not doing well.

Rice should have got tighter for their goal and his face says he knows it, but hey it’s Woolwich so tough tits!.

I'm the same.

If we are relying on our rivals to do us a favour so we can scrape through to the Champions league, then I don't rate our chances when we get there, neither do I like a mentality that puts our hope in our rivals winning rather than our faith in our own abillity.

Pleasing. But they're walking the 2nd leg , let's be real
It does force them to go for it and expend more energy in the home leg, which may take it out of them before a league game (I have no idea who the play the weekend after).

They have Brentford home immediately before and Chelsea home immediately after. Three home games in a row and I'm not sure how much fight Chelsea are prepared to put up if they're in a race for nothing.

I guess we'll see what happens, but they can't rest on their laurels for the 2nd leg now, otherwise they're out. So they make take their eye off the ball in either or both league games. They could just as easily win all three and build up momentum even more.

Jesus Christ!
Watching tnt sports and waiting for the Napoli v Barca game so having to watch the build up to the Arse game.

How does Known still get employed? He's just a cringey lickspittle and cannot see anything other than Arsenal being amazing.
He was just talking about how wonderfully they were pinging the ball to each other in a keep-ball warm up, like it shows that they're an incredible team.

I'm sure there was a time when I thought he spoke about the game quite well but he's becoming more and more of a parody of himself.

A lot of the ex Man U players are bad but old monkey head has to be the worst of the lot.
You should listen to Talksport on Fridays 10-1300. Simon Jordan taking the piss out of Keown at every possible opportunity. He is so intense, no wonder he never made a coach. Cannot help himself with regard to Arsenal. Reacts badly to any criticism. They will probably get through though.

The CL has been pretty dull so far. No games that have been open and quality
If your team is not involved there are not many games to look forward to. Watched Corrie the other night as the football was crap.
City and Madrid stand out a mile ahead of the rest.
looks a mistake to take away the away goals.
PSV v Dortmund was so poor . If Arse get one of them in quarters they will get through.

Away goals was the one very interesting thing about the knockouts, I was so disappointed when it went away.
A succession of what can only be described as incompetent idiots have tweaked this, added that to the game to 'improve' it with the grand result that the game now, as a whole, is less enjoyable and regressing faster than at any time in the sports history.
