Anthony Taylor is probably having a great evening. All of a sudden he has a legit chance at the CL final. Or at least a massive Semi.
Honestly, I thought the officiating in both games tonight was a level above anything in the Premier League.

My six year old's indecipherable crayon abominations are a level above officiating in the Premier League.

Liverpool not turning their tie around mate
Wouldn’t rule it out tbh, they drew with 16th place Verona at home one Monday and got destroyed by Inter 4-0 two months ago. They aren’t actually having that great a campaign and are currently in 6th, outside a European spot. If Liverpool turn up they could turn the tie around, big IF I know but still.

City shit the bed there. No one wanted to take it on in extra time. And it cost them. Never take Madrid to pens. They’ve been there a million times.

All of these refs you see in the late stages of the CL all get shit on in their own league weekly. Familiarity breeds contempt. But overall Taylor does well in Europe and shows the signs of being England's best ref.

And now that you have a wide open race for the final (the clear top 3 in Europe have done the final) in terms of refs, Taylor has a real chance.

I think Saka is pretty overrated tbh
Said it before.

He's an excellent player but he isn't in that elite bracket and Arsenal need that player if they are to win stuff and do anything in Europe.

That tie proved that, you need an attacking player to really step up.

Bit like us when we played CL final

Aaaaaaand

But they’ve already got the club World Cup, aren’t FIFA making enough money what with expanding the WC?
Club WC should just be champions of each football federation but I suppose they’ve got to get PSG into something…
Complete overkill and devaluing every tournament.
Ederson to take the fifth pen…

What a penalty!
I don’t understand why more keepers don’t take pens as they tend to actually strike a ball better and harder.
Chilavert scored an insane amount of goals!

Arse fans have been saying he's not at the same level as last year. But I just think he had a good season, I Agree with you he is not top tier

Martinelli been poor this season as well
