I so wanted him to come good. But for me personally I feel he just doesn't come across as committed at all. Which is really a huge let down.

GLC on the other hand is putting in the shifts every time
I reckon he is committed. As I've said, he needs games. until his been given a framework and trusted it'll be difficult.

For all the stick some of our more established players take, the buffer some are willing to give this guy is laughable.

March, and the club have gotten nothing bar a goal and some highlight reel passes in 8 months of football.

Either he begins to play more and put in shifts or I'm just going to write him off as yet another expensive mistake the club have made over the years.

The difference between him and Lo Celso is huge. You either want it or you don't.

The club would have done a medical and known his fitness level. He will not get match fitness until he is played... We've let Kane for example play into fitness and of late Lo Celso. People can see the potential and the frustration.

I just see wasted money at this point.

Really appreciate his skills but very disappointed in his play even in the cameo role yesterday. Its difficult to understand. How unfit is he? Yes he played in France but he got accolades after the Man City games against Lyon as the MOTM. Is it a mental thing?
I haven't seen anything where he actually talks in a video where he explains what is going on and the reactions to him from Poch and Mourinho are a bit obtuse. They seem to scratch their heads like Im scratching my head trying to understand whats going on. He has great talent. That usually propels someone to push on. Lo Celso came the same time even with a longer term injury, just went and did the business.
Don't get it really and yet I appreciate his skills a ton.

Doesn't help because we're struggling a bit. If we were winning games and playing well it would still be a concern but not as much of one. Most of us know he could massively help us because he has quality....but the problem is he's just not done it so far. This isn't helped by his whole demeanor which seems sluggish, lethargic, can't be arsed. If he was scintillating on the ball I could almost forgive what seems like nonchalance.

I get that to build fitness he may need to start. He started in a huge game against Chelsea and did a few good things on the ball and found a few passes that most in our team wouldn't. But on the whole if we're honest it was a weak as piss performance against big rivals. Just looked totally lost after they were physical with him. He was brushed on the head and over a minute on the floor.

We need him to step up and help us like I think he can.

Lot of people have mentioned him when Lyon played aganst Man City.I believe they said he was MOTM. I hadn't watched the game but thought I would have and see if highlights were available. Here is the link. He doesn't really play any different than this with us in most of the games. Maybe the Premier League demands more but this was against City. He style of running, his ending up on the floor, his great passes they are all here....

Infact if they would let him do 4 passes each game like this we wouldn't need him to come back. Find two soldiers to guard the defence and we are all set. Kane would get the Ballon D'or

That pass at 2 mins 10" is illegally good.

He’s a absolute defensive monster

I noticed that during the game and at that point gave up any dreams that he could be a Dembele surrogate. He has incredible passion vision and dribbling skills. I think he needs to just focus on being a creative ("luxury") player - at least for now. Play to his strengths and maybe with improved fitness and confidence his defensive/off the ball game could improve.

I really like him and hopefully he does come good - he really needs to play through and mentioned earlier we need to start prepping for next season and take the rough with the smooth this season - that means playing him even if shit so he can establish his fitness.

As it stands he has all the skill in the world but is a five aside player... and will only improve once starting on the regular.

I stand by my original opinion of him, which is he will become top class for us.

Let's be thankful that it seems to be fitness and mentality issues, which can both be improved upon. Given the right time and attitude adjustment, and he will be the bees knees in midfield for us.

I never write players off, not even dear old Sissoko who took a solid 2 and a half years to become useful to us. He is now a GOAT in my opinion, and we sorely miss him in the middle of the park. With his industrious game play, Ndombele could focus on what he does best, getting forward and dictating play. Since both his and Sissoko's injuries, his game has fallen quite a bit but to write him off as a bad signing after barely getting a chance is foolish.

This instant gratification mentality is shocking. Yes he is our record signing, yes it isn't unreasonable to expect decent performances out of him but the shaming and blaming going on in here boggles the mind.

It's so obvious it's now a joke. We know he lacks fitness so you play him in the number 10 position until he gets up to speed. When he is up to speed you play him in a CM2 or CM3

We know he hasnt got fitness or mangers trust to track back like lo Celso or Winks so play him alongside Bergwijn and Dele/Lucas

Every week progressing his minutes until he does 90
