Fuck all. Can complain about who they signed etc but Arsenal have spend £100m+ and even West Ham have spent £60m in the last week alone.

It’s a good Windows imho. We have to remember how asful we were defensively last season. Romero and Emerson are the key transfers for me. It’s obvious that the defence was our main downfall last season, and it’s equally obvious that Fab and Nuno thought so as well. We’ve seen it countless of times: A solid defence lifts the whole team. + Adding fresh talent in Gil, Sarr, and shipping out some Deadwood.
If not for Sanchez finding his form we would probably have tried for one more quality CB, on top of Romero. And we wouldn’t even have thought of trying for Traore.

Probably made a profit with all these Loan with Obligation moves. In other words we have probably thrown out half of the Kane money we expect next year.

Last season is water under the bridge. Why are we comparing to a mess of a season that saw, almost except Kane Son Hojbjerg Lloris, no one's place was safe. No one got the run of games they need to create, defend or score
Forget last season - Now, New manager, New season, run for the players like Dele who we know are good enough to score 10+ at this level.
Stop the pessimism on creativity etc etc. Nuno has shown , he is able to find solutions with what we have. Once new players are integrated, things will be fine. Yes, would be awesome to get Traore over the line.
But for the mess we were in May-June, we are in a far better place.
If Emerson is last of business, so be it. I am done being pessimistic over the state of the club.
