Lingard is a good shout - he'd really fit into our 4-3-3 formation and offer a lot more end product than Bergwijn
Lingard is statistically bad finisher, he had super period of overperforming at West Ham but it ended very fast. Bergwijn on the other hand is statistically good finisher and scores more than he should

Lingard did more for West Ham last season, scoring 9 goals in just 16 appearances, than Bergwijn has done since we signed him in January last year.

Bergwijn, on the other hand, has an impressive 4 goals in 52 appearances for us, along with the countless one - on - one's he's missed, the last being as recently as last Sunday, somewhat counter your belief.

Also, so do my eyes.

You seem to have the habit of dismissing opinions of players that are linked to us, while massively overstating the abilities of players currently in our ranks.

I love how supportive you are, I really do. And it would be great if more did the same. But some of your opinions really do baffle me at times.

According to Understat - Bergwijn have a 4 goals from 3,84 xG for Spurs. According to StatsBomb in 19/20 for PSV he had 0,22 xG per 90 and he was scoring 0,32 goals per 90. In 18/19 he had 0.32 xG per 90 but was scoring at the rate of 0.44 goals per 90. He IS statistically good finisher.

Lingard on the other hand in his whole PL career scored 27 goals from 27,52 xG. For West Ham he scored 9 goals from 4,76 xG then after Newcastle game had 6 matches with 0 goals and 0.49 xG.

He isn't good finisher, he had fantastic form that he is not sustainable. Graph from @GreyWhitebloom on Twitter.

Because most of this players aren't better than the players we currently have in squad :)

Sorry bud, but all this xG bollocks means the square route of fuck all to me. You may as well have responded in Russian. And those graphics just look like something I knocked up on a spirograph when I was 6.

I go purely by what I see with my own mince pies. And what I've seen, is Lingard doing more in 5 months than Bergwijn has done in one and a half seasons.

However, taking into account what thread we're in, whether it's Bergwijn or Lingard, they're both able to provide infinitely more than Harry fucking Winks.

If likes of Winks does not make the squad tomorrow then surely they have got to see the writing is on the wall and it is time to move on.

Winks confidence must be at all time low and he surely must know his days are numbered at Spurs. I get it that he is a local lad and has always been at the club, but he has surely got to see that he has to move for his own personal development. He has gone from being a premier league regular and winning international caps to being a bench warmer. Best for all if he moves on, we can only hope he realises this before it is too late.

His confidence can't be that low, as he's supposedly stated that he wishes to stay and fight for a place in the team/squad, despite being told there's no plans to use him as we try to move forward.

The lad seems to be either deluded, or completely out of touch with what's unfolding around him in regards to squad improvements.

i love an xG stat, but you seriously expect me to believe your last sentence? He really scores more than he should? How many goals does he have in 40 odd games for us? 2?

Us buying Sarr and reportedly being after Aouar should focus his mind further.

Seems like Newcastle is keen on Winks

"Bruce is keen to bring in players with Premier League experience, but he can only bring in two loans. Choudhury is his priority, but he is also interested in a move for Winks who could be made available on loan this week. "
