Emerys game management was excellent. He changed it after United scored and they barely had a sniff after that. Villareal looked the more likely to win, especially in E.T. Used his subs really well and Ole didn't at all. 3 subs in the final few minutes.

United players looked knackered. Barely rotating all season and not trusting his bench has cost him big style.

Oles at the wheel.

Solskjaer was completely outclassed by Emery, cant believe there is not more pressure on this league 1 manager

Come on now, as well organised as Villarreal are, they were massive underdogs tonight.
Massive is a massive overstatement. I mean this is a team that beat Sevilla 4-0 only a few weeks ago and compete against the biggest teams in la Liga. Man Utd were favourites, but this isn’t a major upset.

If Trippier and Eriksen didn't make Kane feel bad, seeing Capoue and Foyth win Europe too must be a kick in the bollocks. Now he will probably see Kyle win the champions league.

Come on Levy, work your magic on Kane or I won't blame him leaving

Cavani didnt also Pogba as well I am sure.
There were one or two but I bet in years to come they will still be on display in the cabinets at home. Losing on the last kick of a penalty shoot out which was brilliant to watch was no disgrace.

Seriously if he wasn't so recently ex-Arsenal I think he would've been very high up on our list.
Tbh their league finish was very disappointing, particularly as they started so well, 7th is their second worst league placing in the last 8 seasons.
