I’d go with three CB Toby Dier(if fit) and Roden(Sánchez can’t handle powerful forwards).
I wholeheartedly disagree. They were absolutely key... to us being the laughing stock of the league. That doesn't just happen by itself, you know.I reckon there is a rule that says someone is required to post "first goal is key" in the match thread before every match.
Someone posted it before the West Ham match, as usual. Turned out first three goals weren't key.
Wonder if rodon will start
I would describe that as a non-controversial statement.A first PL clean sheet of the season along with a win would be nice
(Sánchez can’t handle powerful forwards). Tell that to Antonio.I’d go with three CB Toby Dier(if fit) and Roden(Sánchez can’t handle powerful forwards).
Your comment might have been sarcastic so apologies for not picking up on it but we've played United away which is never easy, and Southampton away who beat the league leaders yesterday. In the process scoring 11 goals. You can probably give us a bit of credit there! It's odd - we've chucked away some mega flimsey points this season, and have made some silly errors, which makes my current mind set quite difficult to explain...
I'm super confident. I just think we're such a good team now. Yes, we really need to sort CB and our defense more generally, but otherwise, we're looking pretty good.
It may be to do with the fact that we haven't played anyone good yet, but I think we're looking as good going forward as I've ever seen - possibly better
I think we'll win this
3-1

Same most weeks, in fact .

Especially after last weekend's results!Haven't the time to look back through, but has anyone mentioned that this is a 'must win game' yet?
If not I'd like to make it clear....
This is a must win game.
Thankyou.
I’m expecting a very frustrating match. Burnley are the definition of anti football. It’s going to be a boring slog trying to get a goal and hoping they don’t catch us on the break with a sucker punch.
If we score early we could get a few, but if it’s still 0-0 after thirty minutes or so I expect this thread to be full of thoroughly unpleasant comments about our midfield.
Hope we can get a win. Hope Burnley go down.
