No but I can just very much imagine it being the mindset. And I say that because I know 'it's United' but they still don't have the same appeal as they once had, when you consider things such as there apparently not being the best harmony among the group (from the views of Sanchez and Lukaku), we just beat them 6-1 signifying problems and Son is at a place that he quite clearly very much loves and gets to show up at the best training facilities every day and play in the best stadium in Europe throughout the season.
Just the sort of things you may consider before spouting out that your team should buy such a player under current circumstances.
Tinted glasses or not, Son moving to United would be a very strange transfer to happen.
