Did you expect them to make no signings?
If they get Partey it will be annoying But they don’t have the money at the moment apparently and the player isn’t desperate to join them (unsurprisingly) but if they sell some players they might afford it. Eg. Bellerin being linked with going to PSG for £25m, but then they’ll need a new right back surely?

£25m isn’t paltry if it enables them to get Partey. He’s the key signing for them. Transforms their midfield and team. I really don’t want them to get him, he’s the missing piece of the jigsaw.

We said that about signing Ndombele as well. It doesn't always turn out as you expect, but I agree that Partey is a good player, and I'd prefer if they only signed shit players on mega wages.

Yeah it would be annoying if someone gave them money for Bellerin, hes not even a good full back. Couple Arse fans I know used to moan like hell about him.

It’s weird regarding Özil as before corona virus haltered the league he started all of Arteta’s games in charge I think then once football resumed he’s just been dropped completely from squad.

Still no contract signed by abaumayang. The way they’d be speaking about it in the media I thought it was a foregone conclusion that it would be signed.
