Or Ndombele could do the best thing he’d have done in his Spurs career and just leave! God if we could add Danny Ings and a CM we’d have one hell of a squad.

But realistically if we end up with Josh King or Chris Wood either of them would be quite decent options.

Levy should be putting all the players who are transfer listed on bloody eBay Amazon the lot just get them sold so we can make this one heck of a transfer window.

Great window so far but my money would be on Tangy staying

but we manage to sell Aurier, Foyth and Rose and that’s enough to fund us for Wood/King and a CB. Which on the face of it including the 3 signings we’ve already made would be a window well above most of our expectations given the Covid situation, but it seems that the window going from a say 7/10 to a 9/10 would revolve around us being able to sell TN. ???

Agree. I’d absoloutley love to sign him and I love that we are looking at him but I’d also feel a little uncomfortable with it given his injury record and likely price tag it seems a risk we shouldn’t take if we could for example get one of Van Der Beek/Sabitzer/Rakatic & Wood/King for the same price as 1x Danny Ings. But if Uncle Joe has decided he wants Ings in his fpl team and will give us £50m the sure id absoloutley love to see him in a Spurs shirt , Ings and Kane up top with Sonny & Lucas on the wings and GLC & PEH CM is a pretty juicy thought.

How should I read the edit in Herc’s comment, we’re interested in more than one of their players, or they’re interested in more than one of ours.

I actually think Sessegnon could be a smart move for Ajax. I suspect Tagliafico will move on this summer, so a LB will be on their shopping list, but to get Sessegnon (on loan) plus cash to invest in other areas probably makes sense to them.

To stop confusion re Ajax and us. We were talking to them 100% DVB, in alignment with my post yesterday. They interested in Sess on loan. We are looking at couple scenarios, with a player of theirs. I cannot give specific name for now.

to add, they fancy Foyth. Lots of suitors for him.

I would advise not to guess, as it won't end well for the thread, but certainly don't have designs on taking any team's star striker regardless - the ITK doesn't fit that scenario.

On a more positive note, I'd just like to say BZ for all the ITK we've received so far this summer. You guys have been top notch & it's certainly been refreshing to see us go out & get the players we want to build a team!

Lazio are in negotiations for Muriqi from Fenerbache so I imagine the result of that will greatly determine the Chris Wood situation

Seems like a lot of things need to fall our way for VDB to come to fruition, which doesn't bode well for us. Also, if he's talked contracts with United, it could well all be over anyway as they will offer more. But interesting news about the other Ajax player, very intrigued as to who that would be having looked at their squad (not going to guess though!). Cheers Herc!

I’ve always Liked Chris Wood. Unfashionable and a bit of a journeyman but his stats are decent. I don’t care if others laugh, the guy is class
