OK, in anticipation of ITK over the coming couple of days and against my better judgement, we'll try again and have another thread.

Since we closed the last one i've had quite a few PM's asking "have I been banned", the answer is, if you can see the ITK forums at all, then no. If you just cannot see this thread, it means there isn't one.

We've restored the access of a few and will do a few more before the window closes.

Anyway, here's another thread. All we need now is some eyeteekay.

MD hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet. If all goes to plan it will be tomorrow. ??
That’s good news. Two vital areas addressed by this weekend and some time left for a deal or two to strengthen us further. This is definitely sensible so far

This isn’t headline grabbing business so far, but it is very smart business which moves us subtly forward.
Premier League experienced GK, RB and DM, all without breaking the bank, two of which help our HG quota, as such opening up our options to potentially recruit a non HG player in another position of need.
All sensible stuff, maybe an approach we’ve not had recently.
I’d take 3-4 low key signings that give an overall better balance to our squad, over 1-2 big name ‘Game Changer’ signings all day long.

Although they might not be the world beaters that Poch supposedly wanted, will be interesting to see what impact getting players in earlier will have. Seeing as they sound like the players Jose wanted, he should have a good amount of time getting them locked in before the season starts.

Think we will be done after this one, unless we do sell one buy one and I wouldn't be disappointed with that.

We would have strengthened our squad drastically and whilst we are not signing world beaters, sometimes its the cheaper more viable transfers that make all the difference. We have addressed our areas of need and given Jose exactly what he's asked for. Next season is looking very exciting too me.

based on previous ITK this also hinges on TN and Serge being sold to a point? I.e. if they go we’ll go big on someone not to be guessed?

personally I’d push the button on Wilson now and see where we’re at later in the window.

Serge yes, but I don't think getting a striker is dependent on the sale of Ndombele. We have other saleable assets like Gazza, Rose and Foyth while others have also been linked to moves away via ITK and media reports.

How on earth is that what you inferred from his post?
Because Dragon said ‘our next priority...’ it’s been taken as ‘now we will start trying for a striker’...

I’m confused also. I am a man and therefore famous for only taking life one task at a time. But surely at the club, there is more than one man, therefore multitasking could be possible. At least I hope so...

May be the "best negotiators" at the club work one deal at the time depending on the priority.

All dragon posted was something that was blatantly obvious, that now we’ve sorted our two biggest holes and brought balance to the firsts, the next important issue to address as sorting out some depth up front. Doesn’t mean it’s not been looked at all this time, or that we’ve not had any formal discussions, only that it’s not been as much of a priority.

Typical SC to read into one solitary word in a post which is probably meaningless given the general grammatical rollercoaster ITKs subject is to.

Just, no!

I'm not sure why people are taking it so literally.

It's GOOD (I think) ITK. So let's just sit & wait to see what pans out.

It's pretty obvious the infrastructure is in place & negotiations are in progress for likely, more than one or two more.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'm excited!
