Yeh, fair.

I'd be shocked were we to get him now. People are setting themselves up for disappointment. The likes of Jota, Ings, lautaro martinez etc are unlikely to be coming here.

Being a striker and having Harry Kane in front makes it very hard for strikers to go for. Yes, they might play with him a few times, or in rotation, but not enough to be hitting 15-20 goals. Like, even Man City is a team easier to see a future as a striker wanting to play games then us right now.

He's just been unanimously voted their player's player of the year and that puts him directly into the 'most likely to be banned from his hometown if he leaves' category.

Although, they did reject him when he was a kid, so it would be quite a troll :ROFLMAO:

we're being linked with Diego Costa now in the Mirror, I have no other thread to put this

I came looking for thoughts/info on this and this was the thread I clicked on when I couldn’t see one about it. ?

Isn't he on something like £300k a week at the moment?

I keep expecting us to make another move for Giroud now that Chelsea have signed Werner.

FWIW I believe the striker JM is interested in with “two good seasons in the PL” is Woods at Burnley!! Can play up by himself or in a 2 with Kane slightly deeper. Not saying It is him or I want him but he has many characteristics that would appeal to JM.

I know where you are coming from but I think it might be McBernie from Sheffield U. He is definitely a Jose type forward. Big target man who gives it all.

Some of the subs bench is partly obscured from where we are in the press area but I don't believe Harry Kane even came out for the second half. Certainly didn't see him walking back across the pitch after the final whistle.

I thought he was still in quarantine so strange he was there at all. Shame that couldn’t be extended into next week so he couldn’t go away with England.

There can’t be anything in it or else you know the media would be all over it.

They'd move the goalposts to have Kane join up with England. Southgate won't be happy until Kane has been run into the ground.

I know, such a joke of a National team. In fact, the whole FA is a joke of an organisation stuffed with clowns from top to bottom

Its not the FA's fault its UEFA for insisting this new tinpot tournament is squeezed in. anything outside of official world cup and euro qualifying should have been binned to allow club football to catch up.
