as 'effective' as Kane. feel better? No one's saying he's a fraud, he's a great player who I'd love to have a Tottenham, but he isn't as good as Kane.

Lol, Kane is different class. That's like saying Kevin Phillips was better than Ruud Van Nistelroy or Thierry Henryas 'effective' as Kane. feel better?
what does it actually matter?Lol, Kane is different class. That's like saying Kevin Phillips was better than Ruud Van Nistelroy or Thierry Henry
No he'd be a good signing. Was just commenting on your comparison to Kanewhat does it actually matter?
If he comes to Spurs we have another striker that can score 20+ goals a season.
Edit: Effective as does not = as good as
No chance we sign Suarez on the wages he's on to be back up to KaneWould rather we go for Suarez on a free compared to some of the names that have been mentioned. Even if we only get a season out of him he'd be perfect back up, and imagine the following
. Suarez - Kane
. Dele/Lo Celso - Son
Sess - Hojbjerg - Doherty
. Sanchez - Toby - Dier
Lloris
Or
. Son - Kane - Suarez
. Dele - Lo Celso
. Hojbjerg
Sess - Dier - Toby - Doherty
. Lloris
Edit: can't get the formatting right but the first is 3 at the back, holding mid and wingbacks, 2 AM's then the striker's
Second one is just a 433 with 1DM and 2CMs in front
Well aware the first is a gammy formation you'd only use in fifa though ?
Doesn't have to be back up if you play 2 or 3 up topNo chance we sign Suarez on the wages he's on to be back up to Kane

If Suarez still has pace for the counter attack and an excellent work rate, then this could be a goer tactically.
But it's unlikely he'd take a reduction in wages and a short contract, both of which we'd insist on.
He'll probably end up in Italy or PSG tbh.
Silva isn't on 70k, Suarez won't be on 70-80k per week too.Chelsea got silva for free and giving him only 70k wages on a two year contract ... Suarez for two year contract with 70-80k per week added with goal bonus - I could see him agreeing ..
Just think of the Kane-Ings we could give teams with that partnership.Talking about ings, he really is quite a player and his work rate is excellent think Shane long but actually scores goals.
Would love ings and Kane next season it would be perfect, both can play on there own, Kane can drop back and they play together.
Think he might cost a few bob though.
You’d prefer Luis Suarez to Troy Deeney? Very controversial opinion you have there.Would rather we go for Suarez on a free compared to some of the names that have been mentioned.
That was before Ings this season. He is not going to come to a top 6 club to at most rotate with a striker. If Kane were to leave then we could go in hard for Ings, right now Ings has tried the whole big club thing, it didn't work. I dont think he will see us as a good option for him right now.We did. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...-offer-for-danny-ings-from-tottenham-hotspur/
It was the one thing that, apparently, made Liverpool's tribunal fee higher.
Whether or not we were genuinely interested, or if it was a Levy troll, I don't know.

Yeh, fair. You're replying to a post that was answering why we didn't get him "before he went to Liverpool", so it's not really relevant to the here and now.
