If he comes to Spurs we have another striker that can score 20+ goals a season.

Only 3 I could think of from the ITK would be DCL, Ings, and Vardy. None of which are realistic.

Would rather we go for Suarez on a free compared to some of the names that have been mentioned. Even if we only get a season out of him he'd be perfect back up, and imagine the following

If Suarez still has pace for the counter attack and an excellent work rate, then this could be a goer tactically.
But it's unlikely he'd take a reduction in wages and a short contract, both of which we'd insist on.
He'll probably end up in Italy or PSG tbh.

Chelsea got silva for free and giving him only 70k wages on a two year contract ... Suarez for two year contract with 70-80k per week added with goal bonus - I could see him agreeing .. This season suarez still scored 20+ goals

Talking about ings, he really is quite a player and his work rate is excellent think Shane long but actually scores goals.
Would love ings and Kane next season it would be perfect, both can play on there own, Kane can drop back and they play together.
Think he might cost a few bob though.

That was before Ings this season. He is not going to come to a top 6 club to at most rotate with a striker. If Kane were to leave then we could go in hard for Ings, right now Ings has tried the whole big club thing, it didn't work. I dont think he will see us as a good option for him right now.

I'd be shocked were we to get him now. People are setting themselves up for disappointment. The likes of Jota, Ings, lautaro martinez etc are unlikely to be coming here.
Being a striker and having Harry Kane in front makes it very hard for strikers to go for. Yes, they might play with him a few times, or in rotation, but not enough to be hitting 15-20 goals. Like, even Man City is a team easier to see a future as a striker wanting to play games then us right now.
