fair enough (I was unaware)You quoted me first ...
You still cared enough to argue with someone else about the subject
Why participate at all in the thread if you think there is no merit to discuss what may or may not happen under Jose?

I have done, loads in this thread, I got your opinion and vision (and as you state while not being an expert) and I offered up to you what I will wait for.fair enough (I was unaware)

I have major doubts more than envisaging failureI have done, loads in this thread, I got your opinion and vision (and as you state while not being an expert) and I offered up to you what I will wait for.
Think it's been good, I know you don't envision Jose as being the guy to move us forward.
This has been a very good conversation.
I thought our season was in the bin at Christmas/New Year. I think I said as much else where on this site. So, no - and it's only gotten worse as we have lost three key players.I have major doubts more than envisaging failure
I think he has to be given a window and start again with a fresh slate next season
but surely you must feel frustrated by the lack of upturn in performance (despite the initial upturn in results with poor performances)
It feels to me like the job is a bit of a poison chalicePersonally I felt we needed to back Pochittno in the end the frustration got the better of him... I remember the comment where he said I should be renamed coach instead of manager.
When you check back on his tenure he was never allowed/ given the opportunity to rebuild. Alex Ferguson built multiple teams and freshened the squad keeping a core of players. I think we messed up tbh however moving forward we need to establish a model and stick by it.
Yeah I'll wait until after the summer. It feels to me like the job is a bit of a poison chalice
Huge investment needed, investment that is unlikely to be made
I think we needed someone who could do what Poch did in his first cycle, whether he still had it in him to create a Poch Spurs 2.0, I really don't know. I think it's more likely than Jose, who has previously dined on the highest table, being the biggest spender amongst his competition and who;s best years were a decade ago
It all smacks of the Van Gaal appointment at Man U to me (execpt they were prepared to really spend to back him)
I expected to see more proactive tactical changes from Jose, I am surprised how often he repeats formations and tactics that haven't worked in previous matches.
I think we needed to either back Poch or get a new Poch in who could build a new, hungry Spurs team on a shoe string budget
I guess we'll see if Jose can rekindle the magic he performed at Porto (although he probably had the most expensive squad in his league there too at the time)
Do you think he should have had us performing better in the last 5-6 games despite the injuries? or do you think the injuries have tied his hands and he is doing as well as he reasonably could under the current circumstances?I thought our season was in the bin at Christmas/New Year. I think I said as much else where on this site. So, no - and it's only gotten worse as we have lost three key players.
I won't rail on a manager if he doesn't have all the tools to make a team work.
Like I said my views are further back in this thread if you're interestedDo you think he should have had us performing better in the last 5-6 games despite the injuries? or do you think the injuries have tied his hands and he is doing as well as he reasonably could under the current circumstances?
I do agree (assuming you believe this) that he is having to clean up a mess left for him, with a tired, demotivated squad, that has since been further depleted by injuries
But I really think he's still under performed despite the circumstances
Why do you voice so much disregard towards Pochettino and this immense optimism for Mourinho. Whilst I respect your views, surely even the most optimistic of people can see that Mourinho is so wrong for this football club for so many reasons, which many of these reasons have previously been well documented.
I am interested, but I am far too dyslexic to search through text looking for specific postsLike I said my views are further back in this thread if you're interested

Yeah, no.I am interested, but I am far too dyslexic to search through text looking for specific posts
I'd be very interested to see what you thought of the Jose era so far and how you think it bodes for the future
Results were obviously pretty good at first, although performance were not and the defence was leaking goals still
What about his tactics and results post Kane/Son injury? has he done as well as anyone could? could/should he have done better? are the individual errors that lead to goals against us completely beyond his control? or do his tactics put our players under pressure and or leave them overrun and exposed which amplifies the frequency of these errors?
How genuine do you think Jose is when he says we don't need major summer investment to achieve our goals next season?
what do you mean?Yeah, no.
?
5 years vs 4 months.Poch asked for a rebuild. His new players got a total of 11 minutes together due to injuries before he was sacked. Why does Mourinho deserve any more patience? He was brought in to deliver. That means a trophy next season. I’ll be here waiting. In the meantime we’ll be putting up with Mourinho shit.
It's my belief that history is a wheel. "Inconsistency is my very essence" -says the wheel- "Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don't complain when you are cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it is also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away"what do you mean?
We have proved ourselves that spending big money doesn't always yield results, many of our better signings have been our cheaper optionsThe most annoying part of the rebuild seems to be this fallacy that it needs huge investment, it doesn’t.
What we need is smart, calculated investment that has a high probability of payoff.
Robertson didn’t cost a fortune. Soyancu didn’t either. Mane was a steal. Wolves have built an incredible squad based heavily on cheaper players.
We need someone to come in and facility this investment. We could get in 6-7 players with some creative loans for accounting and financial purposes over the next 12 months, or two windows. If some of them don’t work out, we send em home and find other options.
If the right person is facilitating the deals, we will be able to rebuild and come back stronger next season. That person has to be Campos.
Mourinho deserves a chance to build a new team, regardless of the results this season.
I really don't understand either of your last two postsIt's my belief that history is a wheel. Boethius always makes it right.
How come?I really don't understand either of your last two posts
