it’s so obvious- the only one who should be there is Dele
The one should who be there, if we really could not have found anyone else last summer (which I doubt), is Fernando Llorente. Choosing to release our only backup striker without replacing him was inexcusable.

If jose doesnt want to play a 17 year old then I would rather he put alli up top and lamela and bergwijn either side of him.

no urgency when we're chasing a goal. its okey to lose but not in this manner. shit

It’s like we’re trying to conserve energy for our clustered fixture list but in doing so failing to get anything from our games. 3 big games, so far we’ve looked like utter dross and lost our 1st two games.

How parrot is not ready is beyond me. That Haaland for Borussia is 10 months older and he’s playing every fecking game for them
WWWW
TTTTTT
FFFFFF
Is going on

Haaland is probalby once in a decade talent, he's been playing senior football since he turned 15.

Parrott has played just 3 games in senior football. That's apples and oranges.

"Lo Celso - dead. Bergwijn - dead. Lucas - dead." and...."Lamela - zero training. Ndombele, I knew he couldn't last 60 minutes".

"It's going to be really tough"

"I can't wait for July 1st"

We need to start to listen to Mourinho because he's trying to tell us that we are so limited with options and we have too many games at the moment.
No. Whilst the chairman has left us in this state, it’s his job to manage the situation. Some sort of game plan would help.
Additionally, he always deflects. That’s just what he does. He’s been there long enough to create some sort of pattern of play, yet we still aimlessly smash the ball forward time and time again.

No mate, you can't - the greatest footballing team in the world went out and bought Ex - Middlesborough striker Martin Braithwaite this week. Let that sink in while you continue living in a Roy of the Rovers idealist bollox world.
The moment we really pressed we scored, just that we started 5 minutes from the end

I wouldn't mind watching us lose but to lose like this shows how much we have deteriorated. I would like a young manager managing us, brings good ideas to the club, develop young players and start all over again. I think I would enjoy a match seeing our lads play with passion, regardless of the score. Since our chairman does not like splurging, then we should invest in young unproven players, nurture them and with the likes of Lo Celso, Tanganga, Bergwijn and Son in our club, this might be the start of a new era for us.
Wouldn't mind a trophy or two before starting another long project. Hate seeing us as a perennial work in progress.

Missing out on Europe would be 100 million pounds of lost revenue in comparison to last season. Where is the money going to come from to purchase the 5-6 players everyone is calling for here? No Europe might sound good in theory, but it's a guarantee of austerity, a subsequently angry Mourinho, and another horrific season that likely leads to a mass exodus the following season.

Dele, Wanyama, Sissoko, Aurier ish.

We are honestly so fucked, questions need to be asked of the board, too many people happy to let things slide & hope things will be different in the Summer when it never is, this is the club that went a whole season without signing anybody ffs. So many changes need to be made.
They have changed. We're one of the top spenders in world football this season. You can say it's unfortunate timing and we need another year of that at least, or that our management didn't spend it on the right priorities, but to accuse the board of not investing when they've spent big money on Lo Celso, Ndombele, Gedson, Clarke, Sessegnon and Bergwijn this year is just silly. Time to leave the past in the past.

Imagine having a striker up front that those other attackers could play around ... Focal point.

You cannot play this game without a striker.

Oh well, I will argue that playing your kids is an option. If your players are dead and they are probably not going to make any impact, then play Parrott, Skipp and others who want to prove themselves on the biggest stage.

If Jose really is refusing to play Parrott after this then I'm pretty much done. I don't care if you don't think he's ready Jose, he can't be worse than some of the players on show today.

How many times does it need repeating on here that the reason Parrott isn’t playing is because of his well-documented off-the-field conduct?

If Jose is going to start a youth player, at this point I’d wager he’ll pick Etete ahead of Parrott to make a very clear point.

It's called maturity. Haaland appears to have it, Troy by all accounts doesn't. If you're relying on the teenage kid with no professional experience who hasn't even made it to school leaving age yet, you've got an issue.
Fair point sir, I will get my coat

It’s just a complete nothingness about us

Suspect we’ll drop off top 4 quite significantly from now

It’s a painful rebuild alright. Need to sit tight through the shit storm

Load of idiots spouting rubbish. We had no strikers and playing less than 60 plus hours ago . Whereas Chelsea (at home ) had at least 5 days off . Anyone who seriously expected a win is a deluded idiot . This is a transitional season so get over it
Its not just about whether you win or not, its how you play.
You can lose but play well. You can lose to the better team and take it. You can even be the best team and lose but still take something from it.
We look shit.
We looked shit with Kane. We look shit without Kane.
We looked shit with Son. We look shit without Son.
We look a disjointed, shambles of shit.
We all want us to do well, of course we do but you can lose but still look like a team.
We do not.
Norwich for example are foot of the table but they are a team. They give 100%, you can see every player knows what they are supposed to be doing and they do as well as they can. They are just not good enough to compete.
We do not. We look totally disorganised.
Thats down to the coach.
