Was it that good kush though?A 3 acre cannabis factory!
“ a process he believes totalled around 80 different property transactions, including one incident in which a warehouse under Tottenham’s ownership was broken into and turned into a drugs factory.
“We discovered it had been bolted shut from the inside and when we finally got in we found three acres of cannabis growing in there,” explains Levy. “We obviously had to call the police. The next thing we knew we were victims of a revenge attack when the water pipes on the properties we owned down the High Road were cut, which flooded them all.”
To expect Levy to change is just as unlikely as seeing hairs sprouting on his pate.
I don’t think it is the bottom line of just spending hugely but more about identifying and spending on your targets with conviction, similarly when moving players on don’t penny pinch and constantly hedge your bets whilst fucking around the seller/buyer at least with Liverpool they identified problem areas and spent large amounts but limited the numbers of inbound players at those fees.Liverpool have net spent £70m under klopp. Look at Leicester. Today it really is much more about getting the right player at the right place for how you want to play. United have spent a fortune and are still in the mud. Spending hugely is simply no guarantee.

I believe you missed the point. It doesn't happen in Europe?? Of the top 10 spending clubs last summer only 3 were from the PL
Yes the PL are the heavy hitters but to say it doesn't happen is very strange
What Europe's top five leagues spent Competition Total spend Biggest single purchase Premier League £1.41bn Harry Maguire (Man Utd, £80m) La Liga £1.24bn Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid, £113m) Serie A £1.06bn Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan, £74m) Bundesliga £670m Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich, £68m) Ligue 1 £605m Wissam Ben Yedder (Monaco, £36m)
I interpreted it as overseas club are more reliant on developing and bringing their own players than spending. Not that they do not spend as well. We tend to spend for a quick fix, especially as the Premier League being so competitive. My opinion of course“We have to get rid of this obsession in England of spending money. It just doesn’t happen overseas”
Don’t know whether to laugh or not actually be surprised by this line from Levy
I believe you missed the point.

We have to get rid of this obsession with wanting to win trophies, it's about the brand, the higher profile and property we own."
That’s what matters, maybe we could add the training ground to the honours list along with the sponsorship deals.
Still the sheep will lap up the failure..
The trophies will come ultimately it’s about the bigger picture and becoming a club of serious european stature. The odd FA cup or carabo is not going to do that. It’s about getting the base and building from there. Which we’ve pretty much done. Now if we start sticking some silverware on top we become a very very serious club.
There’s me thinking all this fussiness from Poch and him stopping our ambitious transfers had ended and we were about to prioritize trophies...
£15m per year to pull the wool over the eyes of the sheeple WAKE UP YORE THE PROBLEM!!!!What did we hire Jose for then, for the lols?
Because he told levy he changed and didnt need signings and could develop players. Music to levy’s ears not having to spend money. But just wait until Levy realizes hes going to be expected to replace and improve on Jan, Toby and Eriksen on top of improving at LB, RB and CM. He’ll have a meltdown. We’re making a huge mistake not trying to address some of these next month. What did we hire Jose for then, for the lols?

Let's wait a see if Mourinho can do what the 10 other or so managers before couldn't and win some trophies with the Levy handicap, Mourinho for 15m a year is probably quite happy to work on the new 'project' with his hands tied behind his back, I'm not as sure as others he can do what Poch couldn't and drag Levy over that 'trophy finish line' but let's wait and see...What did we hire Jose for then, for the lols?
