Rose, Dier and Eriksen the least good players by a country mile. Dier in particular was bad bad bad. I don't know if it's fitness or if he's just lost a bit of sharpness with all his problems last season but goddamn. Sessegnon was dynamite in the first half but faded after the break, Lo Celso did well, Foyth was dependable, Gazzaniga put in a couple of decent saves. By the levels of each team they should've won by more.

That’s the annoying thing. New manager, looking to impress etc, same as at United, just strolling along happy to lose. The mentality at the club, well, within some players is nowhere near good enough.

Obviously outclassed but even still there was some really really poor performances out there tonight.

yeah it’s what I expected. It’s obvious a lot need moving on. Gonna take a good few windows to do it though I’m afraid. The squad is terribly in balanced. Guess that’s what happens when you don’t have someone in charge of transfers who can build a squad.

Very Concerning display from Dier . Even if unfit u expect least 20 minutes of energy

Wanyama has no legs and he was superior in the final 10 minutes. Broke into a full sprint on 87 minutes to intercept a cross in our area

And naturally Skipp was better too. Honestly Eric looked like an overweight amateur

You want to see what pass an move looks like, with swift and precise passing?
Look at Bayern.

They past through us at absolute will, clever passes into areas where they could exploit 2 on 1 vs full backs, won most challenges and second balls and crucially moved the ball under pressure into areas where they had time to pass forwards.

We by contrast were chasing shadows and moving the ball under pressure into areas where we invited more pressure.

Too many long balls supposedly behind the Bayern high press but to no one and with no one ready to back up and try and win a second ball.

Very poor and I am not sure many come out of that with anything other than a fitness test before the xmas period.

Notable mention to Eriksen for being absolutely awful and even making me prefer having Dier on the pitch. Poor from both full backs, though Rose should know better.

It’s hardly a waste. GLC got a start, Sessegnon showed he’s capable and Eriksen shuffled himself closer to the door

They weren't put in position to succeed, Dier and Sissoko made sure of that.

Sessegnon was the obvious and willing outlet but many times he wasn't fed because someone in a deeper position opted for the safe five yard pass which inevitably led to losing possession quickly because the team was under constant pressure and couldn't control anything.

At this point I'd rather see Skipp as first choice DM with Foyth as the next best option.

Well some positives there and some truths that Jose should start seeing.

Sess is really an exciting player, gotta be a good bench option from now on.

Siss not good enough he was playing right side of the midfield and offered no help to kwp, what did he do?

Skip looks livelly would love to see him feature more, especially ahead of sissoko.

Foyth ok, kwp had a v difficult game, but I still think he has a huge future with us.

Rose and wanyama gone.

We need a centre forward and biggun.

I'm not blaming Gazzaniga but I can't help but watch back some goals we've been conceding and think that it doesn't take a lot to beat him.

Tonight was useful in that it showed where we need to invest. Hopefully we'll get at least one in Jan.

Massive over reactions to a dead rubber! We just needed to avoid humiliation like before and we did. See a few new faces and confirm a few are past it or just not good enough. We are not as good as them even with first eleven starting, what do some of you expect! Go flat out somehow win a meaningless game and be fucked for wolves on Sunday, what nonsense that would have made...

playing eriksen these days only serves to reduce his value when we eventually come to sell him, piss poor.
He should have made the tackle to prevent the third goal, but he was pretty much the only player, who was part of every one of our few positive moments going forward. Created a couple of chances that could just as well have been goals.

Not a true reflection of his ability but GLC showed tonight why he isn't getting games in the PL, some damning stats.

Diet looking like a sunday pub team player.
Foyth and Gazzaniga did okay tonight.
Eriksen plays like a player determined at all costs not to get injured.

Aesthetically, Dier has always looked like an old-school rugby union forward. It's a shame that his mobility has increasingly followed suit in the last couple of years.
