Gerrard swimming very close to the sack
Probably a while away from that considering Purslow is a big ally.

However, whenever Ive seen Villa they don't seem to have any style or direction.

I imagine the fans were quite excited when he first went there and now I imagine its getting a little difficult to watch them.

Hes almost been there a year, so you should certainly see some elements implemented by now

Nah, Kane is a better overall footballer but Haaland is a generational goal scorer.

I doubt Kane will win another golden boot whilst he's in the league.
He's won 3 golden boots and a world cup golden boot. That is a generational goal scorer.
And Kane did that playing for a team that hasnt won anything in decades. He'd have ripped the records a new one playing for Man City.
Time will tell if Haaland sustains to the same level Kane has.

It’s a bit sad that this is what it has come to. City can buy anyone they want, so there will never be a weakness. Gone are the days when the PL used to be competitive. City have created a football monopoly as every world class player will want to play for them and pep. How can anyone else compete?
And then add in if its not going well they can make 5 subs.
A fucking idiotic decision which gives even bigger advantage to the big clubs.
I sometimes wonder if Sky would be happier if it just went down to 7 teams slugging it out and the rest fuck off altogether.

Imagine not captaining Haaland on FPL.

Poor fools
he saved my gameweek. I had 11 points heading into Sunday. Thank fuck I have Haaland and De Bruyne. Wouldn't mind Foden as well, as they're striking up quite the partnership it seems.

I can see Kane breaking shearers record, but Haaland breaking kanes record a few years later. Why would he leave City? At this rate he will score 50 plus goals a season. He only needs to be at city for 6 or 7 years. I know it’s a long shot, but again why would he leave city, especially if they start winning the CL frequently. He already broke one of kanes record a few months after when Kane was the fastest player to 20 CL goals.

He may just want to win things in different countries and fully conquer football. If he stays at city he won't get the chance to win la Liga or whatever. I'd be fairly confident haaland will leave city once he's got several titles and the cl sorted.

Haaland was already one of the greats by the time he left the bundesliga, for those who don't watch it. He was born in Leeds, a boyhood Man City fan, and the premiership is like a playground for him... he's living his dream and then some. I don't see him leaving.

Spending the season rooting for cheat code City and Haaland every game as the only team capable of stopping Arsenal winning the title feels… grim.

Haaland is incredible though, combined with City’s insane level of creativity and they could average GPG of 3+ this season easily. Could be a record number of goals scored.

At this rate Haaland will break Shearer’s record before Kane does!

For the last few years ive really thought that the 3 best players in the premier league have been Kane + de bruyne + salah really. But de bruyne is on another level, at least to kane. He can do everything offensively that kane can do basically at the same level or better + he is willing to sacrifice himself defensively & press. Incredible incredible player.

One of the thing that makes city so good is the willingness from all the players to defend. Look at spurs, son and kane basically wont defend from the front. Look at city & haaland, KDB, bernardo, all of them are not afraid to run and defend, they press very well up front. It might be instructions from conte, but kane hasnt defended & pressed from the front for years. Ironically think he would score more if he did instead of trying to save energy for attacks

He's going to Madrid in 2 years. A release fee of 150m becomes active then. He's said he wants to win all the major leagues

Why the sudden thought of the scum possibly winning the title ffs? They were beaten by United who was thrashed by Citeh 6-3! While we were beaten by them, that didn't make them a very good team. I still maintained if not for Hugo choosing that day to be shit and Emerson being extra stupid, we wouldn't have lost the game no matter how 'uncontrolled of the match' we may seem. The Europa games will hurt them, when the games become busy, their mentality will shatter. It's the same last year, it will be the same again I strongly believe, unless they signed very good depth in January.

So only two more years of this. The guy is an absolute animal and will break pretty much every record there is.

Because they're literally top of the table with 7 wins from 8 games?

Why wouldn't there be any thought of them potentially winning the title?

It doesn't mean they're going to win it, or even likely to win it, but it would be pretty odd not to include them in the conversation given what's happened so far.

Because I'm a Spurs fan, and I hate them, and I'm irrational sometimes. ?

Could someone tell Conte that this rule has been introduced?
