What was Heckingbottom talking about? Worse time wasting ever and he’s complaining about the referee. Their keeper should have been booked well before the handball and should have been off the field.

Why on earth is the NLD not the lead game? I know Newcastle won 8-0 but Sheff Utd were laughably bad it wasn’t a good game at all

MOTD highlights were terrible. Where were the chances we had at the end? No sign of Richy's deflected effort at the end. Didn't paint the right picture of how the game went.

MOTD2 showed the league’s top scorers before airing the Spurs match.

Nothing too crazy about that, right?

Trouble is, they listed Son on 12 goals, which was only the case after scoring against Bournemouth.
I can’t imagine many people go into MOTD not knowing results or scorers but I have done it occasionally.

Nothing major, but a bit shit to spoil it for the minority.
A bit like how they only show yellows for players subsequently receiving a second.

This is a genuine dilemma for the producers of these shows. I produce Norway's MOTD and you have to weigh up presenting relevant, correct information related the game your covering while at the same time trying not to over-spoil what's coming.

But we have largely taken a stance assuming the people who pay attention already know all the scores in the most recent past. Whether that is the correct stance or not can always be debated.

MOTD's attention to data accuracy is suspect. They showed a total of 6 yellow cards in the Bournemouth game, three for us and three for them. Every other source including the PL site reported only 5 cards, with only two to Bournemouth. Should be simple to get these basis facts correct.

PL site actually shows 6 - but has it as 4 (Spurs) - 2

Did a coach on our bench pick up a YC at the same time as Lo Celso?

Did Ange get booked during that back and forth at the end?

Just did a quick re-watch - Ange and Iraola both picked up a YC at that moment - so the final tally should have been 7

4 for SPurs
3 for Bournemouth

But it was a bit of a mess, and could have been missed by MOTD
