I think it would be more disappointing if he said he hoped we beat them on Saturday. He's being professional and that's a good thing for us.

They always do.
Didn't see the issue with O'Hara.
Don't see the issue with Caulker.
I couldn't believe how many people had an issue with what O'Hara said before the semi final. Made perfect sense to me, it was his only chance probably ever to play at Wembley.

It would be unprofessional for him to do otherwise. Swansea are paying his wages. He's articulated his dilemma quite clearly as well.

Agree.

Exactly...I think it was one of those occasions were fans fail to recognise that players are professionals with careers to think about, and not fellow fans (even if they did grow up supporting the club).

Never noticed this before, but Caulker is a brilliant name for a defender (caulker being the craft of making things watertight).

Has anyone actually seen him play?

Would you judge his technique as Dawson-like or King-like?

This is why loan players shouldn't do interviews before they play their parent club

Why? He actually gives a great answer saying he loves us but as a professional must support his current side which is massively different to how o'hara phrased it.

Caulker should decline an interview on such subject.

He does not strike me as a tall centre back.

Anyone know what his height is compared to say Kaboul & Daws ?

Caulkers marginally taller than both according to Wikipedia. They're all about 6"3

He will be great for us if he keeps on developing as he is. The injury he got is one example of what he has as a centreback, saved a goal with a goalline clearance that sent him clattering into the goal post injurying his knee. Showed pace, bravery and great defensive instinct.

My Bristol City-supporting mates still rave about him. He made quite an impression during his time there.

If he stays fit, i think he'll be the player for England that Ledley never could - Fooking Awesome.

I spoke to him and he basically said what Swansea wanted to here in that interview

But told me he expects and wants a spurs win loves us too bits said he really hopes he gets a chance next season but he wants to get atleast 20 games in all comps if not he would like to go out on loan for 1 more year.

Said he likes it at Swansea play the same way he was taught to play at spurs. Also told me about how he was sorry for swearing and getting a public order offense and Harry phoned him to have a word as well as Brendan Rodgers lol!

Also said he's in a way happy not to be playing vs us jokingly because he wouldn't be able to concentrate fully!

The swans players are all looking forward to it!

Alot of banter aimed at Richards & Rangel about containing bale !

He said if Swansea stay up he will have an indept chat with Harry and might go on loan for another year
