He can't say it after he is gone because he will be made to sign a gagging order or he won't get his money. Good on him for saying what so many of us know is true, and have posted on SC for years.

I've said previously, if Conte is going/gone then please give the necessary people both barrels in public and put us fans under no illusion what the next incumbent is dealing with in terms of squad at his disposal and constraints from above.

Im not picking on you (as it seems to be what people have wanted from day one) but ive been absolutely fucking against this from day one. A lot of fans are like - yes this is what we want from Conte etc - NO. You want this? hire a fucking consultant and let them dish it out for everyone. I never wanted any of this - I wanted him to coach and manage and make us better.

Just makes us more of a laughing stock hanging our laundry in public - dont need any of this. It is all bollocks.

A bit staggered how many are supporting our manager coming out and saying “you are a small team” but I guess I’ve never really been into submissive roleplay.

He’s not doing it to help. He’s doing it to absolve himself.

He is literally saying what we fans have done for ages isn't he? Thought we wanted someone to speak the truth and call out the board and club? He is doing that.
He has a job to do and he is shit managing the squad. He and Paratici are literally responsible for recruitment and Team Management.

But hey its never bis fault.

Somehow Poch managed to get his ideas and spirit into the Club and team.

Yes, Levy and the Board made mistakes, but to put All the blame on the is still joke.

I want real change at the club rather than looking at another wasted 18 months of false promises and the same sorry faces still here.

Man has been trying to leave since he got here. Arrogant, spoilt arsehole who has only ever known the top end of the game, despite it turning out that Juve were buying all that success anyway... when he was a player and as manager. I said on day one that this is how he would be. Fuck him.

Get these frauds out of Spurs and bring back Poche, who knows and loves us.

Yes but he'd personally need to be performing rather than being paid 15m a year to play 10 men behind the ball , boring shite. Can't come out swinging if you're responsible for the way we play and that is probably boring the players to death.

Eugh what a club we’ve become, a failing cheque book manager digging out an unambitious, failing board. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The issue I have with Conteball is that we need the right players for the system to thrive as opposed to the other way round.

Of course every team benefits from better more specialist players but I feel like even if we say bought two top CB’s, then next season as soon as any of Porro,Kulu,Bentancur,Kane, top CB get injured we really struggle whereas if we played a system whereby we were more proactive in trying to control and dominate the game and the ball then as Arsenal have shown, you can fit ‘lesser’ players into that type of system and the resulting outcome of performance and result will on the whole be pretty similar.

This to me is the main reason why I feel like continuing beyond this season with Conte is risky because it’ll involve a ton more investment with risk still applied because of the way we approach games… in my opinion.

Add to that his negative approach E.g. today the subs killed our momentum at 3-1, we sat back and got what we deserved, same thing in the CL with the Kulu to Sanchez sub when we were chasing the game, sorry but in this day and age of football I think it pays to be brave and proactive and assertive and also it’s far more interesting and fun.

Long way to go still but really could’ve done with a win today, next game is also a must win before our fixtures start to turn a bit and Liverpool and Newcastle have a chance to close the gap.

Getting rid of Conte is easier than getting rid of the rest of the frauds at this club. I fear if Poch was to return, he would run into the same issues

What’s he said now? More moaning and excuses?

The board do need to take blame but Conte doesn’t have a very ‘cando’ attitude it’s quite defeatist and woeisme and it’s pretty tiresome now.
