Police investigating? Really?
I hate the Chelsea scum as much as the next Spurs fan, but I think that's a bit silly. If he had done that to another player, he might have got a booking. Worse stuff that than goes on in almost every football game.
What difference does it make what side of the white line it is?
Fellaini would be doing life in prison if police investigated this sort of thing all the time.

If it's a kick on the sense that they are trying to tackle the opposition etc, then that is a different matter.
But something like this, which is just an act of violence:
is a million times worse / more dangerous / more violent, than what Hazard did. Just because it happened in a square of white lines on a field, I fail to see how the law is any different.
