Not going to complain too much, we'll see what happens in the second half. Need to improve.

When we finally have a bit of possession it's like we hit a magical quota of passes then just decide to hit it long. Just keep the ball, lads.

The one game where we haven’t been totally passive and people are complaining about us being passive. Yeah, we’ve sat back in stages but football isn’t all out pressing all the time. Weird.
Agreed, some really bizarre comments in here.

Doherty is so average, had a wonderful 1 on 1 against there defender with only Kane in the box and just wanted to go backwards, shakey defensively, average attackingly, slow, whats the point of him?

I don’t think we have been too bad, clearly in the minority here. It’s a very evenly poised game.

The back three, Hojbjerg and Tanguy have been very good.

Need more from Son and Kane.

I’d play Rodon over Sanchez; I think Sanchez’s time at Spurs comes to an end this season. I’d take Winks and Davies off and bring on Lamela and Dele. Drop Ndombele in deeper with Hojbjerg, and play Lamela, Son and Dele as a fluid 3 behind Harry.

No chance. Sanchez’s pace has snuffed out a number of openings they’ve had. I don’t think he’s wonderbread but with their pacey front line, he’s the best option.

Must say, Kane and Son look absolutely knackered.

Honestly wouldn't be against Lamela coming on for Son to keep him fresh(ish) for Fulham and Leeds as he's been pretty ineffective thus far anyway.

Winks was very poor in that half. Hope we go for a 2nd as defence seems very shakey to me & would be surprised if we could see out a 1 nil win

A few nice moments and a good goal so not gonna complain too much.

Our passing in the Wolves half has been very loose, though. Son in particular has been wasteful in promising positions.

No Ndombele didn't pick the wrong option Jamie, Reggie failed to capitilise on the situation.

We’re playing on the counter except we’re either making a mess of it (Kane) or on two separate occasions Doherty has been in acres of space and he’s ground to a halt and passed the ball backwards.

Really hope Jose is reminding them of the Palace game and to not let up. Need to get a second before they tie it up.

I’m sure Sissoko will be on to help see out a lead if we have one but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dele come in for Ndombele. Jose called him out, I’m sure he wants to see if Dele will respond.

I think we’ve been OK. Everything positive has gone through Ndombele so hope we can get him on the ball more in the second half.

If we’re going to continue on the counter today, Son has to come central next to Kane. Nullified on the right. Move to a back 5.

Winks has loads of credit in the bank for coming on in the Bernabeu and not making a holy show of himself. He did nothing that day of note but didnt fuck it up so we were all delighted with our new youth product surviving the baptism of fire.

Since then he is 5.5 out of 10 at everything.

Nobody on here would be calling for us to sign him if he played for anyone else.

Don’t get the negativity. It’s been a very close game with chances for both teams. Wolves are a good side and we are doing well against them so far. I think some people want to look for negatives constantly.

Because we’ve seen this so many times this season, take the lead then play more defensively and slowly the opponent grows in to the game, we fall deeper and deeper and start to have trouble getting outside our own half and the opponent slowly starts to create chances

Jose needs to change things at half time

If the positions were reversed, there is no way that Kane would have ignored Son once, let alone twice. He’s never had the vision or passing ability of Kane but that was extremely poor.
