Whiteman signs new contract

We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until 2025. The lifelong Spurs fan, 24, returned from a second loan spell at Swedish side Degerfors IF in December 2022 where he made 21 appearances, helping them to fend off relegation from the Allsvenskan.

Seems like a nice energy to have around, bit of a strange one that he's signed a new contract.

Given that his yearly salary is presumably around what Kane earns in a week, can't hurt to keep him around the squad. Nice to think we look after our own either way.

Looks like Lloris and Fraser could be gone this summer. We will have a new keeper, plus Austin and Whiteman as back up. Hope they can step us as our number 2 and 3 keeper.

3rd and 4th choice GK should be academy products imo. Switch between being cover and going out on loan.
Helps our quota, stay at club until better academy product comes through.
