Hyperbole and overreaction on a football forum? Colour me shocked.

It's the manner of the defeat I think that has irked so many fans, but I agree that some of the comments are a tad over the top.

If we lose to West Ham and they win, then they have it in their hands to overhaul us in the NLD. I mean they should at least wait for that before the wrist slitting.

Alan Curtis just said we are the best team they've played this season. Always nice to hear.

I loved the Watford manager Flores a couple of weeks back calling us hungry animals that were impossible to repel with our constant waves of pressure and pressing.

There is a pattern beginning to emerge with managers calling us the best team in the league.

Fiorentina's boss said we're in the top 5 side in Europe for tactics, pressure, technique or something. Constant high praise from opposing managers is really impressive.

If we lose to west ham, all of a sudden the nld becomes an even more shaky nervous affair for both clubs.

They do like to dramatise everything. Still a third of the season to go.

I actually went to West Ham on Saturday. Invited there for a work thing.

Honestly, if that was anything to go by there is nothing to worry about.

They were utter, utter dogshit.

There is absolutely no chance they repeat that performance against us. They can play some good stuff and I have no doubt it will be much tougher for us. Can't imagine West Ham will approach us as they did Sunderland.

West Ham seem very confident on KUMB. I'm glad there isn't a long build up to this one. Brady and co waffling on about the "huge" rivalry, how they see us as a club to leapfrog blah, blah, blah

They are flying, relatively speaking and are having their best ever season so it will be tough, but we are the better side so nothing to fear. Point will be fine, win will be a bonus. After that, it's onto another 'cup final' ( we have 11 left...not counting Europe of course! )
