What i find funny alongside the “They’ve been lucky, they aren’t that great, they’ve caught teams on a bad day” is that they also predict that they’ll get hammered by us if they don’t perform. Quite strange.

'We aren't playing well"

I stopped there lol. Fuck me we've played better footvlball in the last two months than we've seen at any point in the last two years

Cant stand people who give that air of they know what theyre talking about when they really dont.
I would say longer than that, better than we have played over the end of the Poch era too. It really went downhill when Winks and Sissoko were our cm pairing (not putting all blame in them btw)

A lot of opposition fans don't pay enough attention. They will just see a late win by 1 goal against relegation candidates, so assume we didn't play well. Arsenal fans seem to think we got lucky at their place instead of admitting it was an even game. Then the Liverpool game was one of the few we played quite poor, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The reaction from the scousers was priceless.

Tbf I know someone who met him and said he was quite rude actually lol

besides the point but I love how they keep forgetting that apparently we are shit but yet they couldn’t beat us in their own back yard?
For the record, i know a lot of PR folks and commercial directors… turns out 90% of today’s ”elite” footballers are all pricks. They live in a completely different universe, that is inside of a very controlled bubble. Their reality is sadly skewed and incongruous with real life. A few directors who work in TV and film, who have shot special commercials with some of these lads all say, that when people ask them about whether this or that actor is nice, they all say, even the biggest dick actor they’ve worked with doesn’t hold a candle to this lot. Moreover, their complete lack of decorum really boils down to a lack of education. Especially those raised in big club academies. That is why so many of those who don’t make it often suffer terribly once released into the wild.

It goes beyond this as well into the media narrative. During the Arsenal Chelsea game commentators were talking about Arsenals convincing win over Utd (memory serves they were a close offside call away from being 2-1 down in the 88th min before they scored two deep into stoppage time). While any comments about our win over Utd have only ever touched on how poor Utd were

Fulham fans saying they've already beaten us this season. True, but no in 90 mins. They were at home and needed penalties against our second string.

Just saw this on the BBC Live Text of the game after the final whistle, typical Victim FC fan: :cry::cry::cry::cry: prick!

Take Son and Maddison out of this Spurs team and they are decidedly ordinary. Incredibly lucky against us (Liverpool) and a lucky draw at Arsenal. The league never lies it is said. Well it does this season.

"If you remove a club's best players from their starting XI they won't be as good."

Thank you for that stunning insight, Alan.

Someone on the BBC replying to a Spurs fan that said 'Maddison is the best Spurs signing in the last 20 years'.

'Kane might have something to say about that'.

I wonder if he can remember what team we signed him from?

I think you will find they were very happy to escape with a point and the majority of their fans know that. If we didn’t take madders or son off we would have won. The momentum was with us. They were extremely lucky!

The way things have laid out this season, aside from all the other 1000 reasons to win it, I want us to win the title this season just to traumatise every single Liverfool and Le Arse fan FOR LIFE 🤣
