I want to recount my recent experience with the club.

So, I went to the Palace game. I was thrilled to be able to get a ticket, even though it was bloody expensive. The ticket was a premium seat, so I got a free programme as part of the package.

So, I wandered about the concourse prior to the game, had one of their mushroom arancini, which was delicious, and flipped through the programme.

About midway through I came across a printing fault - one of the pages was badly printed and warped. Now, usually, that wouldn't be a problem for me. But this was a special programme from our first competitive game in the new stadium. It was special in my eyes. I have the programme from my first ever Spurs game (Wimbledon 2-6 Spurs) on my birthday, my first NLD (1-1 when Jol came close to lamping Wenger) and from the 125th anniversary (coming back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 against Villa), and this one was another 'keeper' for me.

Anyway, needless to say I was disappointed, but decided that I'd wait for the end of the game, find a programme seller and just exchange it for an undamaged one.

However, as those who went know, after the game that they'd run out of programmes. I asked around the stewards and ended up speaking to a manager. He was very friendly and apologised and said he'd try to get me a replacement, but he couldn't do it there and then. Instead he gave me his email address and asked me to drop him a line later in the week and he'd see what he could do.

So I emailed him last week and, as luck would have it, he'd managed to find a replacement. We arranged for me to drop in today. I ambled my way to the stadium (day off from work) and he handed me a lovely shiny programme. And to then top that, he also gave me a copy of last night's programme too!

I love my club!

An invoice payable to Mr D. Levy will be delivered to your home address within 5-7 working days (y)

(That is a nice story though!)

Can't wait for my visit to the UK next year, first stop is a game at the new stadium seems as I didn't have the chance to visit WHL. Glad you managed to get a new programme, just goes to show they really do care about our fans.

My kappa kit doesn’t fit me anymore. Truth be told it never did. I’m off up there tomorrow to get the XXL version and a Nike kit too.
