Nothing hugely new, but I thought I'd just say that Muntari isn't happening. Mourinho won't let go from the sounds of it! He's happy there anyway.

Also looks like Ledley will have a new contract soon

Muntari was the one I wanted to see more than any of Kranjcar or Petrov. I think our lay has gone up a notch since Palacios's arrival, adding that physicality, tenacity and steel in midfield that we've missed for some time now, and getting someone in to play alongside him in a similar role or even understudy him, that remains the priority for me, even if it's a loan, just need an enforcer in there on standby should, god forbid, Wilson get injured or suspended. With O'Hara, and to a lesser extent Boateng gone, we lack that physically imposing midfielder.
Less concerned about GK and CD because we have options there who should be returning from injury soon, hopefully. Also LW, I'm confident Dos Santos can step up to the plate, or we could play Crouch up top with Keane on the left.
