Yeah 3-1 isn’t quite enough when you’re away next. They will need to have a fair few first team out I would imagine then rotate at half time a lot of the key players. But yeah, you can’t play kids at that score because as you say, 1 goal early and it’s big trouble

their depth is ok in some positions but cm, cb and fullbacks it’s pretty poor.

Yeah they are and all of last season all of them had serious issues. Check out the Paris fc v Lyon game from last season.

France in general has an enormous football violence problem. PSG, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and St. Etienne have all been in the news over crowd violence just in the year post-pandemic.

Köln fans aren't exactly known to be the best of boys either so this was a bit of a tinderbox match.
