There will be no news before Monday at the earliest. Any thing released on Sunday will be drowned out by the Euro final. Late news "leaked" on Monday evening with a follow up press conference/official announcement on Tuesday morning give Spurs the best chance to dominate the headlines.

This way you get the evening news and the Tuesday morning papers. Release new info each day and you can dominate the whole week. Anything released tomorrow just gets buried under the Euro storylines. Would be a mistake to let anything slip before the media is done with the Euros.

What are the papers going to lead with?
A) The Euro final results and analysis
B) Spurs news

I'll give you a hint, it's not B.

Dominating the media leads to increased exposure and grows the Tottenham brand. And as the last few years as seen, the club is very interested in growing it's global status.

With the papers all over AVB and Harry as their darling maybe it's not such a bad thing??

If it's just AVB you have a pretty valid point. But outside of the UK, I don't think the press coverage will be negative, and lets be honest, Spurs doesn't have a lot of room to grow in the UK.

But if it's a big announcement, say AVB + Vertonghen + Gylfi, then I think that would be bigger than the media's dislike of AVB and love of Redknapp. I mean, we have the AVB revenge over Chelsea storyline, the Vertonghen choosing Spurs over Arsenal and Gylfi choosing Spurs over Liverpool. There's some fairly compelling news in their that should make for good reading.

Under Armour is our kit manufacturer, they are probably announcing the kit deal, probably not manager or player related, exciting day for Under Armour yes

UA logo is now appearing on the OS at the bottom with other sponsors but no announcement on the front page

This. Good logic. Makes the most sense to me on so many levels - strategically, practically, etc.

The under armour tweet suggested something will happen tomorrow. Maybe they'll release pictures of the new kit.

Are we sure that is in relation to us? We certainly aren't the only thing Under Armour are associated with.

@therealstevenpi: Amsterdam here I come

Could be holiday. Could be part of double deal with Ajax?
Don't think he'd be allowed to so openly talk about a transfer deal on Twitter like that, so most likely just a holiday.

Just wondering, who is in charge of the @SpursITK Twitter account? Any time something was added to the RO section, it would also be posted to Twitter, which was fantastic for me, as I can't spend all day F5ing SC on my computer. But having a quick glance at Twitter through my phone would allow me to instantly read any new ITK.

But lately, the ITK updates have stopped being posted to Twitter, just media stories, seemingly predominantly from Sky Sports. This makes me a sad panda.

I read the Under Armour Tweet as being about the Euro Final, but the "that is all" does imply there is a lot going on. I suspect they mean various other sporty stuff and also the fact they finally join the EPL with us.

I expect that to be the first of the major announcements today. I fear it may be the only one. Although logic suggests not.

On whether we would announce big things on the day of the Euro Finals, it's not like sports are limited to one story. If tomorrow's back pages all show Pirlo or Xavi lifting the trophy, it is no problem to Spurs because:

a) They'd all write snide things about Harry/AVB anyway, so "hiding" the news one page back is better for us
b) On the IBC it becomes less necessary to be snide, and we can manipulate them with intelligent exclusive interviews: AVB in The Mirror, Levy in The Mail, Sherwood in The Sun (Harry's mate, so will be diplomatic yet bullish about THFC to his employers), Ledders in The Telegraph, Dawson in The Times, and release some official transfer news to The Guardian (Vertonghen and Sigg, eg). The content is so impressive, they cover the release in a big, positive way.
c) More people visit websites than read papers anyway, so if you take that the above is done like that and then we let Gareth Bale do an exclusive with Sky Sports and put up loads to SSN and BBC, we'll be more than covered.

We have so much news, that they'll give us massive coverage regardless of the Euros. We have tons of stories to tell: from the design of the new shirt to what AVB wears to the PC.

Seriously, today is a good day to make announcements. Tomorrow is too, of course, but I suspect we'll see several announcements before 6pm UK time (my guess) the more I think about it.

King doesn't some across as the coaching type.

Someone who was an absolute natural and found the game so easy may find it difficult to coach as nearly every player won't be able to do what King did. But he is an excellent reader of the game, always stayed on his feet and rarely got booked so maybe he will have something to offer on the coaching front? Either way he should be given a job for life at the club. Let him stay a one club man and ultimate club legend.
