We play tomorrow. And frankly, i agree with you. I'd use the cup to play my young players and see what we have. Hopefully CCV, Onomah, Winks and Harrison all at least get game time tomorrow. CCV and Onomah need to start.
I know Harrison is seen as an excellent young prospect but has he even been close to the first team yet? I can't see any reason to expect him to suddenly be starting in the FA cup

We have a pretty deep first team squad now and are able to rotate just with such players, I doubt any of the three you mention will start and I think at most Onomah may see some game time tomorrow

CCV has been around the squad I guess but no where near starting yet and Harrison hasn't even been close, no way either start or even come on tomorrow in my opinion

Having said all that it would be nice to do a double again but we need to be lucky with injuries too.

Although a day out at wembley and winning the cup would be a great end to the season, i would have no objection if we lost today but won the league.
That in its self would be a better end to a better season seeing us become champions which has not been done in my lifetime.

If we stop taking the domestic cup competitions seriously we might never win a trophy again.

Anyway, it won't be the FA Cup that threatens our league form.

I hate the disrespect shown to the FA cup some of my best memories since 67 have been in the cup. We are 3 games from being in the final ffs and since when have we been a big enough club to Diss one of 4 competitions we can win?

By the way mines a double

You can kind of see the argument for not prioritising the Europa League, I definitely don't agree with half arsing the FA Cup though..

Why do CCV and Onomah "need to start"? Both players are progressing nicely at their own paces and when Poch feels its time he will put them in. CCV has had a couple of spots on the bench and hasnt come on, that should tell you he's not anywhere near getting a start just yet, so it really is pointless to keep on asking for it.
I'd put it down to a lot of JCL fans not having a clue about the prestige of the FA Cup, hence wanting to rest players when we're a few games away from a cup final.

It's also on ESPN for those in Australia.

As for Bolasie, it's actually good for us if he plays as he's absolutely dreadful and he's sure to squander just about every promising situation in which Palace find themselves. Although, if you're going to the game and sitting in the top tier behind the net make sure you bring a hard hat.

Inb4 Bolasie hat-trick.

I would like us to win everything that we are in but if i had to choose it would be the league, as its the ultimate yardstick imo.

I actually do know the prestige of the FA Cup and that its a huge cup in England. But please can we be real for once? It's mightily hard to win the double in the first place and at this point our first team needs to be as fresh as possible. We have a chance to win the league, FFS! The Premier League! We could be the ones holding up that trophy at the end of the season!!!!!! Give me that glory over the FA Cup any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Also, any tournament that includes games where it is impossible to watch on your computer or tv is kind of crap tbh. Seriously, why the hell is the minnie mouse league more available than the FA Cup? What the fuck is the FA doing?

Oh and one more thing. If we win the double, can ot please be the Europa? We cannot afford England losing its 4th CL place. Not when we finally are getting a new stadium that will enable us to compete with the arabs and putins buddy.

Also, why does playing youth mean you dont care about the competition? You would think our think differently about that stigma by now yet here we are.

Harrison and CCV have both been around the first team and traveling with them in the Europa and the Barcelona trip

So the premier league is 'kind of crap' now is it?
Quite frankly I couldn't give two shits what JCLs think, and rubbish like this reinforces my view.

They travelled to the qarabag game but still didn't feature

Is there any reason to realistically expect either may feature (much less start) tomorrow?

You can watch the PL in England if you have a computer. Some games in the FA Cup? You cant even do that.

And what the fuck are JCL's? Just another term used by you brits to belittle foreign fans?

Have seen Harrison travelled with the squad for one of our Europa game, not sure if he has been with the squad as much as CCv and Winks have.

As long as there are no replays, there will be a maximum of 4 more FA Cup games- hardly season-destroying.
