Is it possible that MP has told Levy that Dier is no longer thought of as a core player?
I doubt it considering he played more than any other player bar Eriksen last season.
Is it possible that MP has told Levy that Dier is no longer thought of as a core player?
Where did they confirm its bs?Thought it was a lie and the club have confirmed it's bs. Do papers like the Telegraph just write this crap for web traffic or are they trying to unsettle players I wonder.
Where did they confirm its bs?
Not doubting you, just interested.
Any linky?several journos close to the club reported the exact same way last night including @Allygold
no not possibleIs it possible that MP has told Levy that Dier is no longer thought of as a core player? Last summer he replaced Dier in midfield, so I find it plausible he might do it again and find a specialist right sided defender.
For me Dier takes a lot of credit for our excellent defensive record, so we certainly should not be considering selling one of our most flexible and consistent players.
It was not only possible but it happened last summer, when after a brilliant season, Dier was replaced in midfield - to be fair we had a better season with Wanyama there, so it is hard to argue with it.no not possible
I have just read the complete opposite in the Daily Mail FFS!!
Where you drinking next season mate? We need to have a chat about your pessimism.Wages, playing CM, biggest club in the world
Lol. You should see me after a shandy, we are title favourites then!Where you drinking next season mate? We need to have a chat about your pessimism.
Everything the Daily Mail write is utter bollox (apart from this which is obviously 100% true).
Why would you want that?Is it wrong that I almost hope we do sell him now?
Why would you want that?
Interested to hear people's views on why Dier wouldn't want this move?
His best mate plays at Spurs, lol!!It's an obvious question why he would want to leave a club that finished 2nd for a club that finished 6th, just to make more money.
He's young. He has plenty of time to make money. First, he has a reputation to develop.
His best mate plays at Tottenham.
London.
Pochettino.
Any more for any more?
Anyway, the issue doesn't arise. It's plain enough that the club will stonewall any and all offers this summer, whatever Dier thinks. I'm sure he knows that and I expect he is relaxed about it.
It's not like it was 2-3 years ago, when Man Utd and Man City routinely finished above us. Now we've been superior in footballing terms for 2 years. It would be a step down, except financially.
