Id usually be excited about this run in but to be honest Im not as Utd/City arent really that good compared to previous teams challenging ie utd/arsenal/chelsea/liverpool.
I thought the standard last season was bad as no one really wanted to challenge utd but this season both teams arent really that good, they didnt even get out of their champions league groups.

I am still annoyed that we look like coming 6th in a 3 horse race :(

T'riffic improvement on our position in the table when Harry got the job though, you must admit!

Desperately hoping City win on Monday by a single goal, just to keep it tight. Can't see United making up the 8 goal GD swing that City would have on them if that were to happen. So I think it would require City slipping up in one of their final two games for United to win the title. Could be good, this.

As somebody who doesn't want super rich owners to ruin the game, I would still like to see Utd win the title (although I can hear a few already that will claim that Utd are no better than City). However, given that one of our rivals have to play Man City still, I would prefer that Man City are still in the race after the derby.

If we stand any hope of Newcastle dropping points, we need City to beat United. If United win then I can see City dropping off for the remaining games.

That's a good point.

Out of curiosity, on a neutral level, who would everybody prefer to win the title?

I would prefer ManU to win the title if i'm honest. Mainly because it will show that obscene amounts of money cannot buy you the title, ye, I know Utd spend well, and they are hundreds of millions in debt, which I also detest, I just don't like or agree with the way City have gone about things since they become "rich"

United weren't hundreds of millions in debt before the Glazers took over, so for me that doesn't really matter. They originally built their wealth the right way, through success on the pitch and some excellent financial decisions right at the time when big money started coming into the game.

I will cheer on United in the title run-in, and I have done so in every run-in for years, with the exception of 08-09 when I thought Liverpool actually deserved it, before Benitez went mad and Alonso left that summer.

Great title race this season, but I have to agree with Matty and go for Man United just because I hate City's spending policy.

City winning it is bad for football and I just find them ugly. Those players playing for city just dont seem real, they should have players like Samaras.

I said when Tevez came back from the PGA Tour that he would win Citeh the title, football seems to produce stories like that. Citeh have to go for the jugular tomorrow night, Manc derby, title up for grabs, should be a belter.
