I think it could go up in flames if the players go out playing like they've been soaking in the brandy. It also creates flatulence

Can someone tell me when the confidence buidling programme is likely to start that he keeps harping on about??
As apart from the Palace game and 30 mins against Arsenal we have been garbage all season in the league which actually dates back to last February. Its like he is using the Munich game as an excuse to try and cover up the utter crap that has been served to us for the prior 9 months.
Now it's the fans fault apparently, we're not making it easy for the poor little lambs.
Then with the players we do have, I don't think we utilise them correctly. We've wasted Winks. When he first burst onto the scene what I loved about Winks was that he was always looking to play it early and forward. And he was always looking to drive forward. Now he has been shoe horned into a defensive midfield role and it simply isn't working. He isn't Xavi and yet Poch clearly wants him to play that way.
How many times was Klopp asked to work on a net zero budget though? Could he have signed those same players on our wage structure? We were in for Mane at the same time as Liverpool. Apparently he chose them, because they paid higher wages. We ended up with N'koudou instead.
Our transfer strategy over the last five years has been very restrictive due to the stadium build. It's really not fair to judge Poch against others when they haven't had the same obstacles as him.
Calling others names on a forum when someone asks if you can back up your rating ,haha looks like you may need to do the growing up yourself sweetie. As you were.Nope. I have a very logical basis but I also have a toddler, a ton of work and various other grown up duties that take priority over explaining myself to a bellend on the internet. As you were.
I agree totally with this. When he first broke through, his main attribute was an ability to give and go with a high tempo and accuracy. He kept the ball flowing and was always able to find pockets of space to offer himself as an outlet when teammates were under pressure.
Winks has now been crowbarred into this Defensive Midfield role due to the absence of Dier and Wanyama. This restricts his ability to move forward because he is too concerned with staying in a disciplined position on the pitch. It takes away from the strength of his game, and suddenly he looks a bang average DM rather than a progressive tempo setter. Due to that, he starts getting a whole lot of negative press.
A change to being part of midfield three with a legitimate DM alongside him, or even as part of a pair in-front of a back three, where he is less restricted, may actually see us start to get the ball forward a lot quicker. Similar could be said for Ndombele.
Nobody made Poch work on that zero net spend basis. He chose to go along with it. Ultimately he is judged on the success he gains on the pitch, and if he feels the board are forcing him to do that with one hand behind his back, then he should have shown his ‘principles’ and walked before now. Would anyone have blamed him for walking the summer we bought nobody and still expected him to keep pace? Everyone makes choices. By not challenging Levy, he is just as guilty.
Sadly I don’t see Poch turning it round if the players aren’t playing for him. Equally I don’t see him walking out. It’ll be on Levy to pull the trigger, and I don’t see that happening either whilst there’s a chance Utd or Real may come calling with a payout. My fear is they won’t come due to Poch’s reputation taking a hit, combined with not wanting to pay Levy’s price, and we’re left rattling through more bottleless losses, whilst out managerial targets are snapped up by other clubs.
If we were playing well and had just been unlucky, we’d all have more patience. But there are no positive signs of recovery. There is no dynamism to our play, it is dull, pedestrian and lacking any kind of tactical identity. It’s just a case chuck eleven players into a random formation and hope it works. If not, try a different combination of players, changeregardless of form, in a different formation and hope for the best again. And repeat......
I'm not sure what that has to do with a comparison of Klopp and Poch's spending though? Posters keep saying that Klopp is far better than Poch in the transfer market, but aren't looking at the circumstances in which they both operate.
I think the one thing that is superior with Klopp is that he seems to be happy being liked independently of how fuzzy he is towards players, a bit Fergie style. Once he decides he doesn't want someone, they're dead to him.
Poch seems to (in his book and in his actions) be too concerned with being liked/friends with players. If someone's not worth their place, stop playing them. If they're playing crap, bring them off. This whole "trust" thing isn't getting him past certain barriers.
It's arguable a factor in why we can't move players on. I mean, Klopp managed to shove Sakho down to Palace by simply shunning him. Unwanted players won't move if they still think they can get back in.
Just seen this on sky sports:
Might be easier to just change clubs ?I won’t lie I was still (naively) backing poch up until the 7-2 game, now I am in the we need a new manager camp and also a load of new players camp
I don't think that's true, remember all the players we had in the world cup, and also the weather wasn't really all that great last winter. That is fucking disgraceful
@Lig...I don't think that's true, remember all the players we had in the world cup, and also the weather wasn't really all that great last winter.
Ttt
A flatulent back 4
Well they couldn't pass wind on Saturday.
Poch just plays the same predictable way
The PR team did a good job in the social media front I gotta say. Behind closed doors I'm not so sure, as alluded from various ITKs..For some reason I just don’t feel Levy is ready to pull the trigger yet. Yes it’s bad and has been for ages but it doesn’t feel like he’s going to be sacked. Not like it did will the last few managers anyway. Another month of no wins will have to push the chairman into action though.
I think he should be gone but it just doesn’t feel like it’s got toxic enough at games for it to actually happen.
I have seriously no idea why has he seemingly not seen a digress and insisted on his methods can turn the fortunes and recent games are building up the confidence.Just seen this on sky sports:
