Even better. At the moment, I'd settle for the team having the mentality to string consecutive passes together

Completely agree with this, whoever our manager is our team is going to need a lot of work. Call it a project or call it buying players, the fact is we stopped buying players for a season when our team wasn't strong enough and now we are facing the results of that. Sure there are other factors like tactical mistakes etc. But as far as projects go, we are going to need a overhaul wheather we want to or not.Uhhh, Trix. The rebuild is happening with or without Poch. You of all people should know that. We literally have 6 first team players that should be leaving the club, 5 of whom in our first XI.
He will if Levy has bought into the "give Poch time, he'll straighten out" belief!I'd we lose both you still think he'll have Levy's support?
I fear the writing is on the wall for Kane. Will be gone soon which is sad. Really did want to believe he would be a one club man but that's a pipe dream.I'm worried that Kane sees his future with Poch, wherever that may be.
It may not be a miracle but he's done it in 4 consecutive seasons with a squad bought at minimal net spend and on a strict wage budget.
It's really not easy getting top 4. Outside the so-called 'top 6' and Leicester's amazing season only Leeds (2000), Newcastle (2001/2002) and Everton (2005) have managed it in the past 20 years.
Your glib assessment of some trick Poch has pulled is just that.....glib.
Too long to address every point, but if you've lost interest over part of one year due to being mediocre (& a CL run to the Finals during it), then you're a strange kind of supporter!Just a friendly question here ..
When what would those that support Poch change their views ?
Lose the next two matches?
Thrashed by Liverpool?
Bottom half by Christmas?
Players continuing to disappoint?
Another diamond formation.
Or we keep him until the end of the season regardless ?
Keep playing turgid football?
Just a question for all those that want Poch supported, we may not get any incomings during the January window, it is a difficult time to get players at sensible prices.
I have no idea where I stand on Poch at the moment all I do know is I have lost interest in the club over this...
Sorry, that was so long.....
Rebuilding or pruning or renewing or whatever it can be called, doesn't mean going back to square one. Harry Kane is one of several players of several years' service who'd be likely to continue with the club along the road they've been on.You could not blame him if he wanted to leave soon I think he is 26 and hitting his prime not sure he wants to hear from poch or levy the words" just give us five years to build again Harry old son and we might challenge", not sure those are the words a striker of his ambition wants to hear.
You or I don't know that with any degree of certainty.Rebuilding or pruning or renewing or whatever it can be called, doesn't mean going back to square one. Harry Kane is one of several players of several years' service who'd be likely to continue with the club along the road they've been on.
Even better.
The whole net spend argument that is wheeled out almost constantly is only really relevant if you feel that the squad is substandard, where you look at the squad and say, oh not much has been spent so we're punching above our weight here, I look at it and think bloody hell, how have we assembled this squad for such a minimal net spend. It may not be a miracle but he's done it in 4 consecutive seasons with a squad bought at minimal net spend and on a strict wage budget.

Largely agree, Poch has done well in the League ( and last season CL ) but he inherited some quality players. The best thing he's done was getting rid of the dissidents, and getting the rest to play as a team. He hasn't proved himself in the transfer market, or tactically. Or how to manage the domestic cups really. The whole net spend argument that is wheeled out almost constantly is only really relevant if you feel that the squad is substandard, where you look at the squad and say, oh not much has been spent so we're punching above our weight here, I look at it and think bloody hell, how have we assembled this squad for such a minimal net spend.
I don't think getting this squad into the CL is THAT impressive, it's a par result IMO. I think most managers worth their salt would have done the same. The only spell he didn't have such a decent group guess what, we didn't get CL.
In terms of the transfer market, I do wonder how many potential signings are being presented to him by the scouts.Largely agree, Poch has done well in the League ( and last season CL ) but he inherited some quality players. Pochettino 2014/15 = Hitman: Blood Money
Pochettino 2015/16 = HITMAN
Pochettino 2016/17 = HITMAN 2
Pochettino 2017/18 = Hitman: Contracts
Pochettino 2018/19 = Hitman: Codename 47
Pochettino 2019/20 = Hitman: Absolution
You say everyone is beating Watford but at the time we played Newcastle and Brighton a similar message was being relayed, the Liverpool game yes I accept a battering there and Everton along with west ham will be difficult with the latter always ready to spoil our parade especially now as we are so shit.
True and that is sad.
We had a good TW. Poch said it just needed to close.
A few weeks later he talks about rebuild and can't wait until the January TW.
We were going into the season thinking like: This is THE SEASON we win something, and Poch has turned it into some rebuild-bollocks I don't fucking buy.
It's just more excuses and we can't afford to throw the "Next-season-card" like Liverpool used to.
He has the 3rd best squad in the league, and should be wining something with that squad. Instead more BS from the man. I'm sick of it!
I agree completely but our manager doesn't think so, so why should anyone else. Why on earth should be be expecting a battering at Liverpool though? I mean you see Leicester turning up at Liverpool and nearly getting a point. We should be going there as the third best team in the league and trying to take all three points. Our expectations have dropped so much due to Poch and the mess he has made of the side that now fans go there expecting a mauling yet still believe Poch is the man to lead us. How does that work...
