He’s legion nowHas @yankspurs done his annual ‘Poch has 2 games to save his job’ post yet?
I told him to fuck off as spurs will always be better than the hammersTell him that If they don't get a point next game, we have a better points total in 2019 than they do
Why?
Mourinho has spent time reflecting and reorganizing his team. He also took some time back in his hometown for the first time in years. I honestly think the next club he goes to will have lots of success.
Could he do that with us?
Kane, Son, Lucas, Dier, Toby, Jan, Rose, Ndombele, Sissoko, Aurier, Lamela and Lo Celso would all perform under him and I think he'd have them believing they can win. We may even get Toby and Jan on new contracts as he'd make them the CB pairing permanently.
But I'd worry about the likes of Tanganga, Skipp, KWP etc.
Because Jose only believes in working with the best, most expensive players these days. And then he’ll bitch and moan, and make the place toxic when he doesn’t get them. He doesn’t use academies, or give young players a chance. It’s just a moronic idea. Why?
I'll be more worried if we slip back to mid-table without CL. We are still not paying megabucks or win a truckload of trophies to convince talented and World class players to join us in the absence of CL. Ndombele and GLC, with Bruno and Dybala so close to joining us is the first step we have taken to sign world class, talented players. This momentum simply cannot stop. But I'd worry about the likes of Tanganga, Skipp, KWP etc.
One of the most successful managers of all time. Still won 2 cups with Utd, while we won nothing with the best squad we’ve had in 30 years. He has talked recently how he has changed, has taken stock and is looking to define a new style of play. If Poch goes, we’d be crazy not to consider him. His profile and winning mentality could lift us to new heights.

Past his best, not the man he was, following team orders, all would be better ways to describe a player who was, prior to his injuries, immense for us. Very disloyal. If Joe would just sell his yacht we could buy some more players to be injured or be on loan somewhere gaining fuck all experience ...
Also, get rid of them and we wouldn't be bring on a clueless fucking Victor Wanyama while Skipp sits there wondering if he'd better off with Jack Roles at Cambridge United getting game time while a player with knees a pensioner would be mortified to call their own runs about on a pitch closing down nothing but air ...
Brendan, the one who we always took the piss out of when he was at the bin dippers ?
No doubt about it Levy had been superb for Tottenham. It brings great joy just seeing our stadium. But like Pochettinho said it's pointless if the furniture inside is second hand. We should of gone big the last window example Dybala and got rid of certain player ie Eriksen etcI don’t get why people are blaming Levy. Everyone knows I’m far from his biggest fan and criticise his transfer policy and ambition often, however he clearly delivered Poch his three top targets and nearly a fourth in dybala who might still come in Jan.
You look at the squad we have and the performances and results just aren’t matching, and there is clearly a drop in motivation levels. Poch has easily a good enough squad to be doing much better than he has been doing.
It isn’t overreaction to say the wheels have fallen off at Spurs. I can sense it and it’s why I’ve lost all enthusiasm for Spurs this season.
What Trix is saying tallies up with what we are seeing on the pitch. Players aren’t as motivated.
I honestly don’t see how Poch turns this around. You don’t change a whole squad of players. You change the coach.
We should be doing far better than we are. Look at the regression in form and performances from practically every single player in the squad. Poch is no longer improving players.
Levy isn’t perfect but you can’t start blaming him for the 2019 performances and results. That falls on Poch. We are easily third best squad in the league but we are playing like a relegation side.
Then you look at all the weird stuff Poch has done, including the book. Yes it was a weird thing to do, you should never do that whilst you’re still at the club. Then his weird public comments about leaving etc plus the fact we always lose key games under him and never win any trophies. That’s a huge failing.
I feel if we get a new manager it has to be a huge name with experience of winning trophies. Ramos being our last trophy winning manager with the team we’ve had for the last 5 years is a disgrace really.
I could see it happening. Based on nothing, just a feeling in my water that it could come to pass.Brendan, the one who we always took the piss out of when he was at the bin dippers ?
He spent an absolute fortune with United and they were playing worse than when he arrived by the time he left.
I think Mourinho's a great manager but agitating to sack Poch for the likes of him is mindbogglingly risky.
I definitely agree with the last part. I want things to get back on track but I have to say I have that oh too familiar feeling. You make it sound so easy...
To be fair, I want to believe you. I really do. Five years ago we’d have laughed at the suggestion Mourinho would manage us one day, now we have more than a few saying he’s not good enough.
Regarding the three you’re worried about there’s plenty here who have already deemed them not good enough anyway! Also, Poch is hardly throwing many games their way.
Anyway, in my absolute ideal scenario everyone at the club has a massive group hug Monday morning and everything returns to how it was a couple of years ago.
Not to mention a toxic manager such as Mou is HARDLY what a mentally weak side such as us need. This squad needs a hard reboot. We’re far from good enough anymore. Sadly, that requires investment in the team. Something which ENIC outright refuses to do.Mourinho is short term and tends to be cancerous.
Pochettinho is our magic man. He will get it right
How would anyone in here know?If Poch does leave before the end of the season, would Toby sign a new contract, if Levy offered him one?

Yeah ... Okay.Past his best, not the man he was, following team orders, all would be better ways to describe a player who was, prior to his injuries, immense for us. Very disloyal.
