Since Littler failed to go 5-2 up this hasn’t been close imo. Humphries running away with it now.

Congrats to Humphries. I think experience told in the end.

Littler will be back.

Nerves failed Littler at the last throw.

Great game
Littler had a chance to win 4 of those sets he lost but couldn't check it out. The double 8 and the bullseye were his enemies today. Such a shame but well done Humphries.

Are we waiting for a check complete from VAR or is it for sure over?

Humphries for me. Obviously both have a great chance, but Humphries best is (for now) better than Littler’s best, he’s more experienced and he’s won multiple majors already this year. He might not handle the final well either (in fact I think that is marginally more likely than littler not doing so) but I’ll go 7-4 Humphries
I’ll admit I wasn’t confident when littler was on 58 with 2 darts for 5-2. Congrats to Littler on an incredible run, but also to Humphries - not many have won 4 majors in such a short period, he’s in rarified air

It was also his failure to nail down opening trebles that lost him the match.

Still. What a showing...

I laughed out loud at this because of the historical references but to someone not familiar with those this will probably look like bullying. It's a fine balancing act.

Thing is humphries was a machine. You just know if littler opened with a treble there was a great chance humphries would hit another 180. Massive credit to him. The mental strength needed when you are getting pounded at 4-2 down is insane.
