Only thing that beats him is himself in that game. Regardless of how well Barney throws it's still Barney, and this kid is still a kid who is playing one of his idols. He's a better player than Barney is now though.

Then, once you get competitive, the ability to produce the numbers under pressure.

Dobey almost always beats Smith - was a nightmare draw for Smith and he’s not looked like the best player in the world for most of this year. Whenever they meet, Dobey plays superb and Smith’s finishing goes to shit.

Cross v Clayton and the whole evening session should be cracking later, although Clayton’s averages so far in the tournament have been nothing special.
