Sometimes I think about the amount of combined hours we spend on this forum and I think can you imagine if we put those hours into something meaningful like finding the cure to diseases

I don't want to have a go pal but respectfully, the mods are just trying to create a bit of fun with a cryptic because it's a down period in terms of information and there's a lot of people who do genuinely enjoy, I personally don't get amongst trying to figure it out but I still think it's great because it generates a few funny moments. I feel like when there's posts like this that the mods are just gonna then feel like "well why the fuck do we bother then" and that sucks as those who enjoy it end up missing out. I don't understand why if you don't enjoy it why you don't instead just skim past, don't read it or just search the ITK's names to see their latest posts or look at the side part of the forum that has the most popular posts of the day if you think you're gonna miss out on info. It just feels like sometimes people make posts which come across as, well I don't enjoy this thing therefore nobody else should either when nobody is forcing anybody to participate.

Cryptic are typically used to protect the source. I guess with how quiet things are it means we're close to getting deals done and don't want any leaks. A cryptic can give a clue as to who we might be close to getting without leaking the name exactly. Leaving it uncertain just helps not risk the media jumping on it I guess.

Purely my interpretation, not info before people get too excited. All I know is Conte and Paratici have been working overtime on Bremer so it may well be the case that he's now joining us.

That’s really promising. If I’m a young centre back and I know Conte is working hard to bring me to his club, I’d be very impressed and very interested. Great to hear Conte is so hands on
