Interesting info on Oscar. Having not seen much of him play, does anyone know what his favoured position is? Modric role? Right side of a front 3?
Tim Vickery, the SA journo, says he plays a bit further forward, in the centre of a 3 in a 4-2-3-1.

Don't know if he is adaptable to play wide or not...

If true then not really a position we need to fill, already have VDV and now Sig for that role.

His best goals return was his 3rd Season (2nd full season, signed Jan window) at Arsenal.
Only really had one season at City, 2nd season he was loaned out to Real after only 8 games. 3rd season loaned to us.

Cheers mate must have been the bitter goons in my ear again making up shit

Hang on hang on hang on....

1. We've just appointed a very good young manager with bags of potential and a point to prove.
2. We've just signed a great young attacking midfielder with premiership experience and an eye for goal.
3. We're on the verge of signing one of the most sought after young centre backs in Europe.
4. We're on the verge of signing a quality striker who was excellent for us last season and seemed out of our reach previously.
5. We're close to signing a Brazilian wonderkid who many seem to think will be a main part of their 2014 World Cup team.
6. We are about to start work on a new stadium which will almost double our capacity and almost certainly double our revenue.
7. There is talk about large scale investment which could take us to the next level without requiring a City style takeover.
8. We have almost sold Giovani Dos Santos.

There is no way that all of that can be happening. I mean we're Spurs right? Surely if all that happened then someone somewhere must have sold their soul. Or sold all of our souls.

It's a funny one, either the rumours of VDV being sold are true, or they think this kid is such a talent they need to snap him up now.

Holy Cow its all kicking off....

I think we are under estimating the pull our new training complex is having. If you think about it 90% of a players "work" time is based at the training ground and then the other 10% at a game !!!(y)

I wonder if Modric is even having second thoughts about moving on with the new training ground, Bale staying, Ade poss joining , new signings....attacking style of play, huge investment etc etc etc

I was really hungry once and sold my soul for a Kit-Kat, so it wasn't me.

Have you got a link to what Tim Vickeery has said about him at all mate (looked in the Oscar thread but couldn't see it). Always enjoy reading his stuff.

And RVP is leaving the goons!

But its not the fact that his leaving that pleases me, its the reasoning.

This is all very un- Spurs like though I agree

On Modric, was all the ITK that he is off to Real Madrid or just that he is off full stop? What if Madrid pull out, can't agree a fee etc? Would he still be leaving? May have a look back over the Modric ITK.

Now that SC's chief harry-hater has been sent packing, some more clarification on where we stand on Twitter.

Post it in here and you're out. Post info you got from there in here and you're out. Regardless of who twitterised it. Post anything from there that's been within 16 mouse clicks of Twitter and you're out. Post 'so and so says' and its from Twitter and guess what? Yep. You're out.

So, if you think there's justification for posting something from Twitter in here, if you think you're reasoning for posting it in here is sound, then think again. It isn't. No exceptions. At all. Ever. Ever ever ever.

Oh and note that the word "Twitter" is not banned from in here (as long as it's used in the context of "stop posting stuff from Twitter, you idiot" :p)

I wonder how much we are trying to get Oscar for? I have a feeling it will be low with add-ons
