Think it will be sorted by Friday personally. He would benefit from pre season with Conte.Feels like our business is all hinging on this transfer then. We are probably holding off on other targets until we know if this one goes through or not.
Let’s hope it gets sorted either way asap.
Ideally needs to be sorted either way before then imo, because everyone coming in will benefit from going on tour and being part of the group.Think it will be sorted by Friday personally. He would benefit from pre season with Conte.
Stubborn git or not that sounds like he blinked. One of those left to come in will be home grown, we'd rather that be Spence as it allows us more freedom elsewhere, and it also works better from a financial stand point considering other positions and options. Gibson was given a hard deadline and tbf from what I've heard he has been more amicable since, and is actively looking to work this to a conclusion. He's still a stubborn git though so no promises.
If that future CB and AM end up being expensive signings it’s interesting how we weren’t getting those done earlier in the window to take to Korea.Seems a good plan:
Get Spence and Lenglet done this week and on the plane to Korea along with Richarlison.
Then line up some potential outs and figure out the remaining budget for CB and AM for when the squad return.
I'm sure the Spence deal is slowing things up a little since he's homegrown. With all our ITK's information last week after Richarlison signed being very optimistic about the week ahead for incomings I wonder if the Spence deal is holding everything else up or just other deals not going our way.

Maybe it’s a case of better deals becoming available as the window progresses. You’d just think if we had a potential starting centre back to we’d want him in the squad asap.
oh to be a fly on that wall!Sounds like Gibson and Levy negotiating against each other must be a complete nightmare
A bit like "Waiting for Godot."Sounds like Gibson and Levy negotiating against each other must be a complete nightmare
It'll be like that Metapod vs Metapod battle in the Pokemon TV show.Sounds like Gibson and Levy negotiating against each other must be a complete nightmare

If we want him and we get him that's a win for me.Not overly upset by Gibson trying to get the very best deal he can get for his football club. Fingers crossed a deal that means both sides can say they "won" the negiations can be sorted out.
