Glad to hear some ITK on Skriniar is still somewhat optimistic. Sounds like if Inter will sell at all they will string it out to deadline day.

Italian clubs seem to frustrate plenty with their negotiation strategies. Man City were furious with Napoli over Jorginho and Koulibaly and that’s a club that throws around money, paying over the odds, for fun!

Either one of Demiral or Skriniar would be a huge upgrade to our CBs so good news if those are indeed our main options.

Not giving much negotiation time for Demiral if Skriniar collapses? Given the time its taken so far with Inter do we think Juve will be any easier to deal with?

I don't understand how the Rudiger deal is doable. Chelsea would never deal with us.
I'm not convinced that "PL CH that name is been discussed on here" that Herc mentioned as a doable deal is Rudiger, considering he mentioned Rudiger by name just before that. Not going to get into guessing games about who it is, though.

There's no guessing, it's Diop, he's been mentioned by ITK including Hercules before.

If we manage to land Vinicius and Skriniar, I don't have any doubt in my mind that we had the best window in the EPL. Possibly even... THE WORLD.

Really exciting and hopefully Skriniar is as close as it sounds.

D1 is spot on.

The work permit is an issue, I still expect it to go through on appeal though. Mendes is an expert at getting stuff like this done.

Rudiger is a back up option that is doable, but everyone involved wants the Skrinier move so more creativity and a bit of compromise should get it done. My concern would be another club throwing the full whack at them if other deals fall down. At this stage no others in the mix, just has that air about it.

Fingers crossed at this point.

Cheers, Trix. Hopefully with Skriniar, the draw of working with Jose and playing with Kane & Bale will see us through even if other teams step in.

It's a little concerning that a team as crap as this lot are can create so many chances against us. Not sure why we can't just get hold of a game and see it out. Instead of keeping possession while 3 up we just give the ball away constantly.
Not the thread for this mate
