45 minutes against Man City aside i don’t think we’ve started the season particularly well.
The squad needs additions in order to maintain last years high standards. We have a young squad so consistency will remain a problem Dawson, Palacios, Defoe and Lennon are not hitting the same highs as they were last year. We need alternatives.
This was the transfer window we needed to get right and with only 3 days left it’s becoming a concern.

Diarra aint happening.

Quotes from Mourinho.

“Lass is a brilliant team-worker,” said Mourinho.
“I worked with him at Chelsea when he was 18 and can see he’s much more mature and more of an all-round player now. He can play in various positions.”

Can we postpone the opening of the dome of doom until 1 minute after the transfer window shuts, rather than making assumptions are based on speculation only, with an added dash of fatalism for good measure. DL does not go from being an inspired genius to a witless moron within the space of 24 hours. Have a little faith and patience chaps.

Indeed, damn the dastardly dome of doom :bang:

Fabiano being on the bench doesn't mean anything, we still put Keane on the bench and we are supposed to have accepted a bid for him.

We're hearing this from the world and his wife, it seems. How far is 'not far'?

Fabiano being on the bench doesn't mean anything, we still put Keane on the bench and we are supposed to have accepted a bid for him.

I very much doubt anything will happen with Keane until Fabiano is absolutely nailed down—especially with Crouch crocked, and a question-mark over Defoe.

The Daily Fail say Parker is poised for an £8million move to Spurs.

His sideways passing and lack of creativity should complement our sideways passing and lack of creativity nicely.
