Jwp would cost a fortune, and that's money that's best spent elsewhere on the pitch.
Feels like a player who goes to Man Utd for 50m and doesn’t quite do as good as their fans want.
I like him, but considering big pat is supposed to have lists….can’t be top. Surely.

  • Atleast 6 new faces Conte wants, potentially could be more.

I always thought 6 was a minimum. Especially with CL football and 5 subs and having to clear the decks of dross.

Also amongst that it makes me wonder if Tielemans may become an option if Eriksen decides against a return. Can't see JWP becoming attainable but I also have no idea about McKennie's fitness status or availability.

Isn’t that exactly what that bullet point says?
Yes Sherlock. I was stating that me, myself and I believed that the aforementioned, previously discussed, ITK and club mouthpiece stated: 6 players, might be the minimum. I was affirming my own beliefs. With me?

Mckennie returned to action on last day of the season for Juve (off the bench)

I'm not keen on JWP at all but I can see why he might come into the clubs thinking with Winks leaving and how that impacts our champions league home grown squad issues.

Don’t you think there has to be a more cost-effective approach if we are just trying to fill a HG hole?

I'm sure Forster will help with homegrown. JWP would be a good signing but not for what he would cost. I like the look of McKennie and sure Paratici could get another good deal off Juve. Funny enough I thought about Eriksen to replace Bergwijn to add another technician like Kulusevski to the attack. So would have thought Eriksen plus a central midfielder.

I’m not sure Juve would like to deal with us again, seeing how well the last two went, in our favour? I’m also no expert on McKennie, so have no idea if he’d be a good purchase for us, presuming a high fee and in to the first team.

Oh, James Ward Prowse...got it! For a second there I thought there was another Wright-Phillips lurking about.

Yeah, lots of shade being thrown towards JWP. He's a quality player even outside of the set pieces. Yes he has the English tax and thus when you compare with cost in mind Eriksen on a free is more appealing, but let's not act like JWP wouldn't be a good signing.

Should be plenty in the pot especially with potential outgoings. If Conte wants JWP I’d completely agree with him. Would be a great addition and add another key weapon to our armoury. Hell get Eriksen as well on a free. We’ll be playing a lot of games next season all being well!

Why not? We took two players off of them that were fringe players. We did them a favour.
