Birmingham won a trophy a couple of seasons back - fancy swapping places with them?

Winning a trophy like the Europa league/ league cup is nice (for a bit) and then once the hangover wears off and you realise that you finished 6th with one of the most expensive teams in the prem - well I'd call that failure for manu!

I agree with the post earlier that suggested that we need to make a stand this summer - we lost out to a very accomplished team in the league, no other club came close to toppling us. Time to start acting like winners and keep this squad together and add value. The money is tied up in the stadium atm but at some point we need to break our wage structure.

Or Poch can come out and say something like "I think we are doing a good job to help England in the World Cup next summer. Marcus Rashford must be quite envious of all the playing time that the young English players get here, whilst challenging for the league. He'd fit well into our system, for sure.'

Then leave it there and wait for Mourinho to explode.

Dier's a good kid. I think he'll weigh up a whole lot of things before prostituting himself. We tend to forget that footballers are heterogeneous beings who can behave differently from our expectations, and the norm.

Spot on, Dier is a very intelligent young man. He has a strong family around him too and if any footballer can resist huge amounts of money to take a step back then it is him. I'm confident from what I know that he will be staying.

just curious, have we had any ITK on any wingers since we had a load about zaha etc in previous transfer windows. Curious if it's still a position that Poch wants to strengthen

It's funny how everyone is so worked up about dier when essentially he is our 3rd choice CB and 2nd choice DM.Is the weakest link in a 343 and doesn't even get in 4231.yes we'd most likely need 2 players to replace him but both these players would essentially be squad/bench players.

Only eriksen had more apearances than dier last season. Don't underestimate his importance.
If we have to buy to players to replace him we also have to pay their wages.

His ability isn't the point that's annoying folk. It's the idea that man u think they can still bend us over the sink whenever they like and claim we were gagging for it
