He was actually a very good ODI player. Never transferred that to Test matches although he did get a hundred and IIRC scored a triple hundred in county cricket.
He's also Charlotte Edwards idol, she had posters of him on her bedroom wall

It was always on the cards when they let the tail get a decent start yesterday. This England side has changed dramatically since Stokes took the captaincy but the one thing that has remained is their complete lack of ability to bowl at bowlers.

Dull, droney, never seems to say much of any actual substance - at least we have DK on, probably makes things worse for Knight though as DK actually gives some insights.

Almost every other ball is skittling along the ground, as long as we bowl sensibly, aiming to actually hit the stumps, 200 will be a challenge.
