Watched the first session before heading to bed, good to see we ended up in a decent position by the end of the day and most of them got a score.
Hadn't seen much of Sibley before this. I'd suggest on that first outing that someone who is absolutely incapable of hitting the ball on the offside and bringing his bat through straight wont last long, but maybe he is a quick learner. We hope so.......
Anyone who said he is a carbon copy of Alistair Cook needs shooting. His bottom hand is so strong that he looks almost incapable of playing a cover drive, but like you said hopefully he either learns or he gets a bit "looser" as he gets more comfortable in the side. For the purists though, watching him and Burns as the opening partnership makes your eyes hurt.
