-------------Lloris----
---Tanganga--Dier--Davies
-------------Winks-------------
Dogherty--Skipp-Lo.Celso--Reguilon
----------Kane----Lucas

Would be interesting to see Lucas playing in the striking position with his speed doing the Son role with his speed and giving Lo. Celso a chance in his left-sided position that he has played for Argentina and done well. I don't know if Conte feels like Tanganga does not cut it, because Sanchez has had big mistakes every game so far. Emerson also needs some rest and hopefully Doc does not fuck it up totally :)

Sanchez also stopped a quite a few Liverpool certain goals yesterday.

I'm glad Conte rates him over tanganga or rodon, the hyperbole from fans that he's super shit is crazy

As a defender, you are primarily judged on your mistakes and I don't see that stat there. Yes, Sanchez has or had great talent to become a good defender, but his frequent upcoming mistakes have made any manager reluctant to make him a starter over time. Yes, he is quick but how many times is it now that he just runs and falls on his own legs or as many times during the game just clear the ball without any kind of thought about where the ball goes just in panic swings his foot towards the ball and hopes for the best. Many people here on the forum has tried to show that Ndombele is world-class with stats now for 3 years, but the guy can hardly play 45min without a Mcdonalds rest (where does that stat come into play)

I love that everyone nowadays can just put up some stats and justify his play from 7 long balls (fuck me he is good) 71 touches (lets sign him up!) total tackles 4 (yoo next Maldini!)

I saw a stat that Sanchez had the best stat in PL in (most time face to grass) 2min/game

Sure, dudes like you will always hate even when he has a good game, you'll just cling to one bad moment in 90 minutes to further reinforce your unchanging belief.

Enjoy

that sliding block in the last minute should not be underestimated. That was a certain Salah goal. Salah was ahead of the defence and behind the ball. It would have been a simple pass along the floor and a simple tap in

Only way that cross could have been stopped was a slide challenge like that

Agree 100%. I shit myself when Allison played that ball over, great defending.

Lloris
Sanchez Rodon Tanganga
Doherty Winks Skipp Reguilon
Dele
Kane Bergwijn

Cant expect the covid guys to go another 90. I think the above could be the lineup with maybe Dier, GLC(or Ndombele) & Lucas being the only potential differences. I’m assuming Gollini wont be available yet so Lloris will start.

Kane Son

I want to see if Conte can get a tune out of Doherty given the magic he has worked on Dier, Davies Winks and Dele.

There were still a couple of utter madness moments though got completely lost in the buidlup to the Jota header and tried a completely inexplicable step over in our own box leaning to Mane getting possession as well as couple of occasions sliding in where he couldnt win it in midfield taking himself out of the game. Always going to be one of those who can make an incredible tackle or block but will never be elite because he's got the crazy in him.

Lloris
Sanchez, Dier, Davies
E.Royal, Skipp, Winks, Reguilón
Dele
Kane, Son

Austin, Tanganga, Rodon, Doherty, Sessegnon (White), Ndombele, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Lucas
The way I'd rotate right wing back would be to often sub Doherty on, prefer not to start him

OMG - until I read to the end I thought you meant Conte....

Was so confused ?

Really not sure in regard to 343 Vs 352. But 352 gives us so many options in the 3 in midfield. I’d say all these could play there Hojbjerg Skipp Winks Ndombele Lo celso Dele Gil, slightly less obvious but I’d also say Sessegnon and Bergwijn could.

Apologies but now you know how I felt when the person who said it to me said Antonio and didn't clarify for ages that he meant hammers Antonio.

Obviously it's just a rumour but if it's right it's great news for us as he's a very awkward player to play against & always raises his game against us

He had an ok game, he was at fault for both goals and for other chances as well. Teh first chance he did not track Robertson and was massively out of position,
1st goal he doesn't get close to Jota who doesn't even move just stands behind him 2 yards away and leaves him a free header,
2nd goal, gets beaten too easily on the left.

Yes he made some good sliding tackles but he is also shaking in possession and is just not trust worthy. He is a player we have to upgrade on and as he is the one who would command a large fee and be weight for a swap deals like Kounde he has to go.

Sanchez had a good match yesterday, there's no denying that. My concern is that previously he goes to ground so quickly, most times unnecessarily and can get too tight or turned by his man.

I will qualify that his defensive positioning and body angle for dealing with crosses has improved so much this season. In the past, if he got a touch from a cross Loris was having to make a save or it was an OG.
