Potential to ruin entire weekend before it starts with Friday KO... Just hope we go 1-0 up in 89th so his rubbish hold on for dear life tactics have less time to go wrong.

-------------------------------Lloris-----------------------------------

----------Tanganga, Alderweireld, Rodon---------------

Aurier---------------------------------------------------Reguilon

-----------NDombele, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso----------------

-----------------------------Kane, Son------------------------------

Agree with this apart from Lo Celso who I think needs to be on the bench, otherwise we are left with Winks or Sissoko if we need to take a midfielder off.

I don't see a huge drop off by starting Bale, Dele, Moura, Lamela or Bergwijn so we may as well keep Lo Celso fresh.

Or... we’ll have two full days to recover before having to go back to work, instead of one might spend comfort eating and consoling the cat after he got scared shitless by the sight of the dining chairs flying across the room...

Agree ?. In which case, Lamela or Lucas for Lo Celso.

Keep Sissoko as far away as possible.

Everton riddled with injuries and yesterday they almost showed up with their u23 on the bench. Hopefully we'll learn from our mistakes on Sunday and turn this game around for the positive. We got just a few games left and 4th spot is still up for grabs.

I’d pick

Lloris

Tanganga Toby Rodon Reguilon

Lo Celso Højberg Ndombele

Bale Kane Son

Subs : Hart, Aurier, Dier, Dele, Lucas, Lamela, Vinicius

But I suspect Jose will go in a vastly different direction

It will be a similar team as we have been seeing the last few weeks with the same results.

Over run in cm, mistakes at the back when we are put under pressure.

I would be tempted to play Dier with Hojbjerg in CM so we can start defending higher up the pitch.

Would also be happy with Toby for Tanganga or Bale for Moura.

Lloris
Aurier Tanganga Rodon Reguilon
Hojbjerg Ndombele Dier
Moura Kane Son
The CM, for me, has been the main issue. Offers little protection to the back 4 and they seem, as you say, to get overrun. Swap out moura for Locelso and I'd agree. As long as PEH watches out for the misplaced dier pass. We won't see this though.

I'm hoping for a major selection shock, maybe Tanganga and Rodon starting together or a prime 1970's Brazilian team.

Good idea playing 5 at the back, so we have 5 defenders to make cock up's instead of 4 :)
