Lo Celso is not in our "strongest team". He would just about scrape a spot on the bench.

Its a semi final againsr a huge rival & a London derby. Sorry Pier but Lloris has to start from here on out now in this tournament. I can easily Conte play all 3 of Hojbjerg, Skipp & Winks in this. Although I wouldn’t. I’d go 352 with Gio. We will need an extra bit of creativity & he is far more likely to get stuck in & graft then Dele or Ndombele.

Hojbjerg has played a lot since returning back from Covid. He could use a game. Winks can fill in. Lucas can come on for Gio in the 2nd half. Plus he could use some rest too. Only other thing I’d think about is Doherty or Japhet for Emerson. God he was just so poor today.

Hopefully dropped for the semi as well. We really dont want him recalled with a point to prove against us

Preferring Lo Celso over Moura is madness Chelsea's biggest weakness is people running off their midfield and exposing the lack of pace in the middle of their back line - Lo Celso will fade into oblivion playing further forward even more than he does when he plays deeper

The timing of the game is annoying but they'll also be playing us off the back of a game at Anfield, so we just need to put that game out of our minds until the 2nd leg is finished (we also get an extra days rest)

3-5-2 seems so clearly our strongest formation to get the best out of so many of us but can't argue with Conte's persistence with his preferred 11 given the results.

Imagine we'll go pretty much full strength again but maybe the Skipp/Winks sub was to have them both fairly fresh to play together.
